All of us are instrumental in creating
networks, but the networks are owned
by YouTube/Google and many others.
Through advertisement the network buying power is diverted to various
retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers who in turn share profits with those
who own the networks in the backend.
• Wholesale clubs such as Costco, BJs, Sam's club created loyal customer
network with members who pay annual fee.

• Retail stores are creating loyal customer network by offering discounts or


credit cards.

• Amazon is a network of businesses but created a loyal customer network


with Amazon Prime membership.

• Apple offers monthly instalment to enable their loyal network of


customers buy their expensive products.

• Every company’s goal is to create a big network of either users or


consumers and market their products or services.
Direct Marketing
As Internet is spreading manufacturers, retailers as well as service providers are closing
their physical stores and moving on line and establishing direct contact with consumers.
Many retailers have been closing down their shopfronts.

Business Networks

The manufacturers and retailers are seeking partnership of another network to


gain visibility so that they can increase on-line revenues/sales. Amazon, ebay,
Alibaba are a few examples.

Mobile apps
All the companies have their own mobile apps to facilitate easy interaction with
the potential consumers.
Who is being benefited?
Business Networks collaborate with Consumer Networks and make revenues
for
1. Individual manufacturer/retailer/service provider.
2. Social media directly or indirectly drive the purchasing power/buying
power of their respective networks and take their share.
3. Business Networks for putting together all the member companies under
their umbrella.
What about all of us who formed consumer or user networks and buying
products and services…. They do not make money.

The trend is “CREATE NETWORKS and MARKET PRODUCTS”

• Most people think “Network marketing” is about sales and recruitment.
IT IS ABOUT MARKETING like big companies do.

• Most of the people are not aware of power of networks though they are
already part of somebody else’s network. For example all of us are on
social media networks, YouTube, Google ( user network) etc and it does
not cost us anything to be part of those networks but all those company
owners are billionaires. How come? The fact is when somebody gives
something for free without a vested interest we are their products.

• There are a few misconceptions about Network marketing.


• Network Marketing is not a “PYRAMID” like a few people think. Who ever
creates a bigger network of entrepreneurs irrespective of where they are
positioned in the network reaps bigger rewards.

• 95% people are trained to be Employees and small business owners and
hence lack proper understanding of Entrepreneurship.

• Before we create Network of entrepreneurs , we got to think like an


Entrepreneur. Acquiring Entrepreneur mindset is a long term process
because we have to unlearn “Employee” mindset and learn new
concepts? This is where “MENTORSHIP” plays a major role.
• Most of us got 16 to 20 years of academic education to become employees.

• At jobs we get professional training to become good employees.

• Overnight it is not possible to think like an ENTREPRENEUR.

“The Business of 21st century” written by Robert Kiyosaki,
the author of the International Best seller “RICH DAD and
POOR DAD”. The book has 115 pages and talks about
Network Marketing and why it is 21st century business. It
takes 3 days to finish if you are serious. How long you will
take to study the book?
