The word tense shows the time
of an action or an event
 • The simple present is a verb tense with two main
Present Tense uses. We use the simple present tense when an

happens regularly

• The simple past tense is a verb tense used to talk

Past Tense about a completed action in a time before now.
இறந்த காலம் The time of the action can be in the recent past
or the distant past and the action duration is not
important.

• The simple future is a verb tense that’s used
