The word tense shows the time
of an action or an event
• The simple present is a verb tense with two main
Present Tense uses. We use the simple present tense when an

differences between using "Will" and "Going to".
The simple present tense resembles the
base verb, but we add –s, –es, or –ies to
a verb when the subject is in the third
person singular (he, she, it).
