INTRODUCTION
• I did summer internship at Relocation and moving Solutions Ltd. from
3rd July 2019 till 31st July 2019. A relocation company in Mauritius,
offers the service of relocation, Helps to find an easy way of moving
from one country to another, this company provides you some of the
most reliable services such as packing, unpacking, moving, loading,
unloading, shipping etc. This internship project is a part of my PGDM
program which I conduct at Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, Pune, Maharashtra.
RELOCATION
• They have adopted a rigorous set of standards which they aim to achieve in every
move they make. These standards cover every aspect of the service from the first meeting
with you to assess your needs, until the moment you are happily settled in your new home
They offer the customers ONE STOP SHOP SERVICE :
To know how, why and what can make a good service provider.
Research Design
A research design is the arrangement of the condition for collection and analysis of data.
Actually it is the blueprint of the research project.
The study undertaken involves the collection of consumer opinion. This calls for a
systematic collection of consumer opinions or data which makes the survey method
Data Collection
Primary Data: The primary data was collected through field
survey using a questionnaire. A questionnaire consists of a set of
questions based on the needed information, presented to
respondents for their answers. The answers collected in the
orderly manner will form the primary data
Secondary Data: Research usually, their investigations is done by
examining secondary data to see whether their problems can be
partly or wholly solved without collecting costly data. Secondary
data are data that were collected for another purpose and
already exist somewhere. The help of literature survey, journals
and periodicals, newspapers etc were taken to collect data
regarding the topic.
Sampling Design
• The sample size is comparatively very small compared to the population and there are
chances that it may not represent the whole population.
• The time and cost factors will affect the size of the sample.
• The final conclusion can be also affected by some of the extraneous variables.

Analysis
The above table clearly shows that 27% of the respondents rated that brand name while choosing the
service is not very important, 40% rated that it is highly important, 13% rated that it is moderately
important, 20% rated that it is average.
FINDING
It can be inferred that the majority of the customers using the relocation services rated that brand name
is important

The above table clearly shows that 95% of the customers are satisfied with the services provided by the

From the above graph, it is inferred that the majority of the respondents are satisfied with the service

The above table clearly states that 16% of users of relocation services find price of the service Very expensive,

This implies that the majority of the respondents are amazed with this service portal.

This implies that the majority of the user’s satisfaction level towards services provided by relocation companies is
highly satisfied.

This implies that majority of the respondents are likely to recommend relocation services to their friends and

SUGGESTIONS
• Even the infrastructure of the company is good enough they have not
matched the world class products. Better the infrastructure easy the job
can be done while moment of goods.
• Having a branches in the countries in which frequently operations are
done can minimize the commission cost of other party.
• More marketing and creating a brand value which creates global
awareness and increasing the staff could create a chance to do more
operations.
• Working even on weekends can be more productive as it is a service
sector which do not disturbs the daily activites of the customers.
• Having a tieups with shipping companies’ air cargo companies can reduce
the cost of shipment.
CONCLUSION
• In the internship I absorbed the skill to apply the classroom knowledge in the real
world scenarios. Have been experiencing the risks which a company might face
while conducting business internationally. It gave me a more clear view of the
dynamic nature of business locally as well as globally and also taught me how
every business needs to continue to innovate to stay at the top.
• This internship has provided me with a sense of accomplishment and being sure
that by learning through this experience and applying all my understandings in the
correct manner to the best of my abilities I will be able to achieve success in my
future endeavors. It has made me more ambitious. It has made me want to learn
more and gain more experiences which will provide me with new challenges and
contribute to my growth in academics as well as life in general.
• During the internship too I learnt how one can make good relations with people
around them and maintain it. Apart from that I have experienced the importance
of commitment to work and how one must always give their 100% at whatsoever
they do.
