Multiplication - is the same as repeated addition
of the same number
Factors - are the numbers that are being
multiplied together
1. Multiplicand – the number to be multiplied
2. Multiplier – the number that multiplies
Product - is the result or answer of multiplying
the multiplicand by the multiplier.

• Multiplying by one-digit multiplier
• Multiply each digit in the multiplicand by
the multiplier. Regroup if needed.
