What is Climate Change?

Climate change refers to significant, long-term changes in the global climate.

The global climate is the connected system of sun, earth and oceans, wind, rain and
snow,
forests, deserts and savannas, and everything people do, too. The climate of a place,
say
New York, can be described as its rainfall, changing temperatures during the year
and so on.
Different Cause of Climate Changes

• Strength of the sun. ...

• Changes in the Earth's orbit. ...
• Cutting down off trees.
• Changes in the orientation of the Earth's axis of rotation. ...
• Quantity of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. ...
• Carbon dioxide content of the oceans
• Degradation of Ozon layer
• And so on……..
How Planned Urban is responsible for
Climate Change?
 The nature of urban systems contributes to climate change, as their functions require
the burning of fossil fuels. Within urban systems, spatial functions include building
structures to house people and commerce and the provision of space for social and
economic interactions.
 Transport functions include the movement of people, goods and materials to, from and
around cities. Supply functions include the provision of food, sanitation and clean water,
as well as electricity, light and heat.

 Besides in city motor vehicles, industry, ships etc emits carbon-di-oxide,
carbon-monoxide which responsible for global warming.
Besides digital city doesn’t have proper amount of tree on the ratio of buildings
or transport. That’s why the amount of Carbon are increasing rapidly.
The specific effects of climate change on urban systems will vary depending on
location, but may include reductions in potable water, more regular and severe
weather events such as heavy rain-falls and cyclones, increased incidences of
flooding, inland storm surges and an increase in extreme heat events.

 Degradation of Ozon layer of atmosphere also a main cause of global
warming .
As CFC(Chloro-Fluro-Carbons) is also harmful for ozon layer which
cause global warming, is also an impact of climate changes.
Effects of Climate Changes
How to get rid of this problem?

A well planned Green City

Planting more trees
Use electric vehicle
Reduction of use of CFC
A well maintenance systems of industrial damps & smokes
