• Agriculture is the backbone of the


economy which provides the basic
ingredients to mankind and now raw
materials for industrialization
(Macatta, 2016).

economy activity of a country especially in a
developing country, with some 25% of the Gross
Domestic Product in the poor countries are
coming from the sector of agriculture (Gollin,
2010)

• This study seeks to know what
further development the farmers
of Bulacan are planning to
improve.
• The respondents will be chosen
based on their experience in the
farming industry.

is the main strength of the
country where raw materials
for industrialization is
provided.

RELATED LITERATURE
• Development initiatives or organizations
who seek to decrease poverty are
focused on improving small local farms
and their productivity, mainly due to
the fact that most local farmers live in
rural areas where agriculture is the
main source of livelihood. (Konig et al
2019).

• The changing types of agribusiness
definitely affected numerous local plant
and creature populations. In the
endeavors to lessen these negative effects
on biodiversity, various agrarian
organizations started cultivating in a more
environmentally friendly way; new types
of incorporated and natural cultivating
showed up (Salek et al., 2013)

• According to (Martin et al., 2013), this
study aimed to help people be more
aware of the ever-changing strategies
that farmers use to cope with climate
change, increasing food demand,
scarcity if natural resources, volatile
input and out prices, rising energy costs
and administrative regulation.

• A study by (Bruggen et al., 2016) stated
that this study brings to light the
benefits of organic farming systems and
since most farms in Bulacan do not
fully optimize technology into the
farming systems farmers use, Organic
Farming Systems is often being used.
CHAPTER 3
METHODOLOGY
RESEARCH DESIGN

• The researchers employed


qualitative method using a
descriptive research design.
RESPONDENTS OF THE STUDY

• The respondents of the study


will be the chosen farmers of
selected crop farms in the
province of Bulacan.
INSTRUMENTS OF THE STUDY

• A questionnaire will be the instrument


used to gather data for the study.
• The questionnaire was checked and
validated by Mr. Romeo Bartolo, the
Head of the Agricultural Office of Malolos
Municipal Hall.
DATA GATHERING

• The researchers will conduct


an interview with the farmers
who are working on the
selected farms in Bulacan
because of their knowledge
and experience regarding this
study.
DATA ANALYSIS

• A semi-structured interview will be


conducted to collect qualitative data.
METHODOLOGICAL LIMITATIONS

• The researchers limited the


location of the data collection
in the province of Bulacan.
• The researchers set the limit
to 15 farmers and 3 farms, 5
farmers in each chosen farm.
