PROBLEM STATEMENT

“To study the effectiveness of


odd-even formula in its last
segment in Delhi”
JUSTIFICATION
 We wanted to see how people of Delhi has reacted before
& after this scheme was implemented in the area in its last
segment.
 We even wanted to know there view over the issue on-
 Pollution, for which this scheme was taken as an measure for
control,
 traffic, &;
 local transportation system.

 At last, we wanted to know whether they wanted this


scheme back or not ,

CONCLUSION
Before Implementing of Scheme:

 Most of people wanted to participate & see how this


scheme will work.
 Some people wanted that the exemption given to women
is not a good step.
 Some people wanted to do car pooling, whereas, some
said that idea of car pooling will not work in Delhi as
people are egoistic.
 Some people said that:
 Metro is not at every place in Delhi, people will have to pay
more to auto drivers/ taxes drivers,
 Local transportation system is not at very good condition in
Delhi.
After Implementing of Scheme:
 Most of the people said that this scheme was effective
 Some people said pollution level was reduced according to
them, whereas, some said it is a technical issue we cant say
anything about this
 Traffic level was reduced to a great extend according to
people
 Some people said it had some positive as well as some
negative, such as:
 Due to these scheme it increased the rush in bus which may caused
problem for handicaps & people who are suffering form some
disease
 Most of the people wanted this scheme to be back for some
duration
 Almost everyone said, they will not buy not buy second car ,
because then it will be meaningless to implement this scheme
HENCE, WE CONCLUDED THAT:
 This scheme was effective & people wanted to this
scheme to come back with a shorter duration with a
break in between two segment of scheme.
 Traffic level decreased to a great extend.

 People can’t comment about the level of pollution as it


is a technical issue.
 The time taken to reach from one destination to other
was shorter during the scheme.
 Exemption given to women is not a correct step as per
some people because it may be advantage & even
disadvantage too.
RECOMMENDATION
 Government should increase the connectivity of metro to
most of the places in Delhi for success of this scheme.
 As the Aam Admi has to PAY MORE to these auto
drivers/ taxies driver, there should be some step for this
too by government.
 Government should make some move in improving of
public transportation system in Delhi region.
 Government may implement this scheme for 15
days/1month with a break of 15 days/1months r
something similar for some time duration.
