 DEFINE THE CONCEPT OF GOD IN THREE REVEALED
RELIGIONS

• Islam: In Islam the concept of god is very simple. We believe that Allah is god and him only, he
created one and everything. He is the all mighty, all powerful and all knowing ruler of the world.
• Christianity: Christians believe in the holy trinity which is father, son and the holy spirit. Father is
what they call god, Jesus is the son of good. The difference between them and Islam is that we
believe Jesus wasn’t crucified on the cross but Christians think he was.
• Judaism: Jewish people believe Yahweh is god. His name was revealed to Moses in four Hebrew
consonants (YHWH).
 MISSION OF ISLAM

• Islam is the religion of peace, the word Islam itself comes from
the Arabic word “4‫الم‬4‫ ” س‬meaning peace. Islam is also a
Monotheistic and Abrahamic religion. The mission of Islam is
to spread positivity and peace and the message of prophet
Muhammad. Muslims believe in the five pillars of Islam which
every Muslim must fulfil in order to be spiritually connected to
the religion. There are also 124,000 prophets who helped
spread the same message of Islam and were sent to different
parts of the World. The holy book of Islam is the Quran.
There are Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims.
 MISSION OF
CHRISTIANITY

• Christianity is the largest religion in the world and is

an Abrahamic and. Monotheistic religions. They
have some similarities to Islam, they believe in
prophet Isa but they believe he was the son of god.
They think he was crucified and sacrificed for their
religion. They also believe in the holy trinity that is
father, son and the holy spirit. Their holy book is the
bible and the bible contains similar stories to the
Quran. The bible has the old testament and the new
testament. They believe the mission of Jesus was to
spread the word of god. There are three different
groups of Christians, Orthodox, Catholic, and
Protestant
 MISSION OF JUDAISM

• Judaism is the last and final monotheistic and Abrahamic

religion of the three. The language that their scripture is in
is Hebrew, just like in Islam most things are in Arabic. No
one can convert to be a Jew. They believe god is only for
them and not for anyone else. The basic scripture and laws
are derived from the old testament in the Bible and from the
Torah. They pray three times a day once in the morning,
once in the afternoon and once after sunset. They have
occasional prayers in a synagogue. Jews aren’t allowed to
eat meat and dairy products, similar to us Muslims only
eating Halal food.
