Age level 21-30 years old attained the largest number of
probationers totaling form 15,630.
As the age level goes higher the number of probationers
decreases starting from age brackets 31-40 with 11,686 probationers down to age bracket 71-80 with 146 probationers.
Age bracket 10-20 years old attained the lowest number of
probationers recorded at 87. 89.57% (32,884) are male probationers and the remaining 10.43% (3,829) are female.
The ratio of female probationers to male probationers is
relatively low at 1:8.
Male probationers account for the largest share out of the
total number of probationers. Greater percentage of the probationers are married recorded at 19,264 or 52.47%.
Common-law relations ranked second with 6,135 probationers.
15.05% or 5,526 probationers are single.
Majority of the probationers (9,558 or 26.03%) are classified under elementary undergraduate.
Only 5.56% (2,040) are degree holders, 6.35% (2,332) pursued
a vocational course, and 1.41% (519) never went to school.
20.24% 7,430 probationers are high school undergraduates
which ranked second in the highest distribution of probationers by educational attainment. All of the probationers (36,713) handled by the Agency are Filipinos. Most of the probationers (6,177) have three (3) children.
Records show that as the number of children increases the
number of probationers decreases.
Most of the probationers (5,526 or 15.05%) either male or
female are single, thus accounting the number of children to these probationers is not applicable. Occupational Group X (Special Occupations) constitutes the greatest number of probationers with 10,200 or 27.78%.
This is closely followed by Occupational Group V (Service
Workers and Shop and Market Sales Workers) with 7,488 or 20.40%.
11.64% or 4,275 probationers are unemployed.
Crimes relative to opium and other prohibited drugs garnered the highest percentage points recorded at 32.21% or 11,827 probationers.
Aside from crimes relative to opium and prohibited drugs
the most predominant crimes committed by probationers are crimes against persons (7,426) and crimes against property (6,716). Greater majority (82.55% or 30,308) of the probationers admitted that their criminal responsibility is principal. The highest recorded distribution for the length of probation period of the probationers as imposed by the Court is 1-2 years with 16,351 probationers.
3-4 years of probation period ranked second with 8,964
probationers.
As the length of the probation period increases the number of
probationers decreases starting from 1-2 years probation period with 16,351 as compared to 5-6 years with 4,012 probationers.
