Who Are We ?

We are ³JPR EVENTS´ in partnership with Nepal Sports Authority. We are a

team of skilled & experienced member who can execute any given event, we
have been part of several Above The Line (ATL) events in the past.

What is Futsal

ë
 is a variant of Foolball that is

played on a smaller playing surface.

It is played between .

° 2 Teams of Five players each side.

° One out of Five is a Goalkeeper .

° The maximum number of substitutes

allowed is 3 + ( 5 on field players) .

° A standard match consists of two

equal periods of 15 or 20 minutes.

° The origin of Futsal can be traced back to Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1930

when Juan Carlos Ceriani devised a five-a-side version of soccer for youth
completion in YMCAs. The game is played on basketball-sized courts, both
indoors and out without the use of sidewalls.

° The game is frequently referred to as Five-A-Side. Futsal gained rapid

popularity throughout South America, particularly in Brazil. The skill
developed in this game is visible in the world-famous style the Brazilians
display outdoors on the full-sized field. Pele, Zico, Socrates, Bebeto and
other Brazilian superstars developed their skill playing Futsal. While Brazil
continues to be the Futsal hub of the world, the game is now played, under
the auspices of FIFA, all over the world, from Europe to North and Central
America and the Caribbean, South America, Africa, and Asia and Oceania.

Concept
In a country like India where cricket attracts all the attention,
football in the country is being overshadowed. Though there
is a large group, growing rapidly, in the society that is
passionate about the game, but there are not enough
opportunities for them to experience the thrill of the game.
There are no big names supporting the sport unlike cricket.
