MIBS- Mahendra’s Institute of banking services 
Mahendra’s Institute of Banking Services was started in 1994-95 with the mission of providing a final edge solution to
the ‘one day competition’ aspirants. The extensive research and development work at the institute resulted in a
pioneering comprehensive Speed Test package for candidates, which was the need of the time. The institute with such a
strong product was widely accepted by the candidates in Lucknow and Kanpur as nobody in the industry was equipped
with such a life altering final edge solution for one day competition aspirants.
 
MEPL- Mahendra Educational Private limited
  The flourishing business of MIBS required a more professional approach to deal with the multiplicity of specific
requirements, thus paving way for a corporate structure in the form of a private limited company instead of a
partnership firm. As a result Mahendra Educational Private limited was launched in its current ‘avatar’ in the year 1994-
95 with a complete solution for one day competition aspirants. In MEPL we design specialized forums to cater to the
needs of candidates and to equip them for facing the challenges of professional world and emerge as frontrunners. A
few of the forums are briefly mentioned below:
 
MEPL-Computer training
  Technology is the need of the hour and the demand for computer literacy has been on the increase in the entrance tests;
we started our computer training section with a highly sophisticated lab and expert faculties for our candidates. We
provide a six month certification course on Office automation and internet to our candidates.
 
MEPL-English Language
This forum was established some 5 years ago at several branches; the spoken English section at Mahendra’s has proved to
be very popular among the candidates. This forum combines English literature and language by emphasizing on oral
comprehension, proper pronunciation and expression, along with the literary English.
 
 
MEPL- S/W Development
 
We started with the tailor made vendor developed software’s
for daily functions but soon we realized the need for
developing in-house expertise for software development. The
institution is spreading in all the corners of the country and it
time we start software development by in-house team; we
have established our own software development section for
custom made applications for the increased demand of
different applications used in daily functioning.
 
MEPL-Academy of Excellence and Personality Development
(AEPD)
We worked closely with the industry and formulated a unique
personality development frame work for our candidates. This
is based on our long experience in training candidates, on
relevant feedback from successful candidates and analysis of
unsuccessful candidates.
 
MEPL-STC- Speed Test Centers
Mahendra’s has been a pioneer in the Speed Test and its
demand has been increasing day by day from all over the
country. We have received thousands of e-mails, letters,
massages enquiring about the product and the pressing
demand to start it in different cities of the nation. This
motivated us to open our Speed test centers in almost all the
major cities of the country.
 
MEPL-Training
Training is an essential and intrinsic part of a growing organization. It helps the stakeholders to keep abreast with the latest developments
and changes in the fast changing competitive environment. This wing is the need of every organization; we have our training section for
internal as well as external training requirements.
 
Internal Training
This section is working for our internal training of our staff and faculty members; we do intensive research on teaching techniques, Self
development and motivation, resulting a highly energetic and enthusiastic team member on board. With a workforce of 500 highly
energetic team members Mahendra’s is ready to show its mettle in the field of education, training and servicing the society.
 
External Training (PRT)
We are an institute that has carved a niche for itself not only as a coaching institute for various competitions but also as an institute that has

Mahendra’s Speed Test Programme
 
15 Years ago, when Mahendra’s first launched its Speed Test programme for banking (Pre recruitment Exams) aspirants, very few in India
believed that our speed test would be well received.
 
These speed tests were specifically designed to meet the industry requirment and were fine-tuned to the expectation of the banking
aspirants. Such pioneering innovation was unheard of in the one day competition field, which still steeped in age-old traditions and practices.
 
Mahendra’s Research and Development
 
The launch of our speed test programme was possible because of our intensive research in alignment with the one day competition
requirements, changing traditions, ever increasing syllabus and most importantly the standards equally matched with the then one day
competition standards.
 
Mahendra’s AIM (Automated Information Machine)
 
With the huge base of more than 25,000 candidates it was very difficult to handle their queries related to information about one day
competitions, their performance in class as well as in Speed Test. To address the issue we thought that the best suitable innovation will be the
collection of all the information in soft copy and allow the candidates to get information on their own.
 
Keeping this in view, we launched our touch screen based model named as Mahendra’s AIM (Automated Information Machine) and installed
in each of our centers. This was never done in any institution of this field in the country and was very much welcome and acclaimed by our
candidates.
 
Mahendra’s Just Missed Call services
 
Apart from Mahendra’s AIM, we use telecom facility for providing various information to the candidates. This service has been started
especially for the financially weak candidates, who gives us a missed call on our specific numbers and our dedicated staff calls back on our
cost to provide all the relevant information to the satisfaction of candidates. This facility helps them to get any real-time information on any
where basis.
 
Mahendra’s SMS Services
 
In case of any transaction with us or information regarding class test scores, speed test scores, vacancies, result and interview etc. we send
SMS to all our candidates. We are in the process of starting SMS on important facts and figures relevant to one day competition to our
candidates on daily basis.
 
Mahendra’s News Paper distribution Services
 
We are the only institution in this field that has collaboration with the national News paper “The Hindu” to provide the News papers (The
Hindu and The Business Line) to each one of our candidates at subsidized rates till their selection. This facility helps our candidates to
improve their general awareness, comprehension skills, English language and communication for one day competition as well as their
personality development.

We are the only institution in this field that is providing up to selection all around study facilities to our candidates. One time enrollment to

Career Counseling at Mahendra’s
Mahendra’s AEPD has a specialized career counseling department that grooms the overall
personality of the candidates and guides them for a right career choice. Mahendra’s AEPD
empowers candidates and creates opportunities for them to cultivate leadership skills by regularly
organizing seminars and workshops on Career Counseling. These seminars include topics on
developing a positive attitude, building higher level of self-confidence, self-esteem, time
management, higher achievement, enhancing communication, public speaking and goal setting
skills. Each branch of Mahendra’s has Career Counseling Cell which regularly exchanges
information with Mahendra’s AEPD department to organize seminars on several career issues for
candidates.
