Mobile Commerce is ability to do commercial activities with Mobile devices Transaction happen through credit card is not Mcommerce Next generation no plug & no wire commercial services e-commerce is limited to PC user only M-commerce is open for all through SMS, WAP, GPRS

Findings
Consumer was satisfied with e-commerce but commerce technology will prove more satisfactory m-

Retailing:
E-wallet has many fold advantages over all old methods No need to go for physical shopping information about all the available goods from Mobile portal all WAP portals get catalogue as SMS on request Retailers can trace location of consumer through GPS Transaction done through the account connected mobile

Mobile Ticketing: Technology in which barcode is send on mobile At point of entry this is directly scanned

Brokerage/Auction: Stock market is very dynamic kind of market, up and down are happening after each second Consumer need a device which makes them updated for information without constraint of physical location E-wallet is solution: SMS or M-Portal use mobile phone for Bid.

128 kbs is sufficient for doing transaction over GPRS Portability is the other issue

Entertainment: E-wallet will give them path for reducing infrastructure cost Enjoyable service can be transferred on the mobile phone Integrated cell phone, mp3 player & video player strengthen Mcommerce scope

Mobile Advertising: Mobile phone provides information to the advertiser Track the shopping behavior from their database Through GPS they will get information about exact position of consumer

Financial service: They can see account information & do all kind of transaction Mobile Payment: payment will done manually at POS & electronically Mobile Banking: location free service to the customer Helpful for rural customers where Banks are very much away from the customer home

Obstacles of M-commerce
The Key challenges for the spreading of M-commerce are security, speed and cost. Infrastructure issues Security occurs due to fear of fraud transaction. Consumer Bias Lack of touch-feel-try experience. Seasonality Low Penetration of credit cards Credibility in payment system Delivery of products State of mobile networks

Analysis
e-wallet (M-commerce) is an emerging technology but it has manifold advantage over other traditional technology These advantages can be exploited by the different sectors Expected to grow in the near future due to high penetration of mobile Indian village is facing the infrastructure issue: M-commerce can best alternative Infrastructure limitation should be overcome by combined growth of TRAI, Telecommunication Ministry and Mobile service provider Simplification of software and hardware technology for and user friendliness Then e-wallet will realized as true potential wallet, for doing all kind of transaction.

Conclusion & Future Research


M-commerce going to become more popular than all other electronic concept e-wallet is going to replace leather wallet Scope of research on m-commerce buying process in other perspective i.e. 3G & Wimax study can be done for the WAP Portal or Mobile Portal development and its use
