Employee Morale refers to an attitude of satisfaction with a desire to continue and strive for attaining the objectives of a factory.

Morale is purely emotional. It is an attitude of an employee towards his job, his superior and his organization. It is not static thing, but it changes depending on working conditions, superiors, fellow workers pay and so on.

y Plastic Pipes are used for water delivery as

well as drainage in construction. Besides this, these plastic pipes are also utilized for water transmission, cable protection and many more. Plastic pipes are high in demand, consequently contributing in the growth of the industry. The Indian Pipe Industry is among the top three manufacturing hubs after Japan and Europe.

COMPANY PROFILE
y The Balco brand of electric conduits, now the

market leader across Kerala, was the first product from the group and this was launched as a small unit in 1991 named Solve Plastic Products. Later the product line was expanded and the scales of production increased with a major capacity addition. Water pipes, solvent cement and bends as support material were produced next. Presently the Balco brand name enjoys a high degree of good will in Kerala, Tamilnadu and Karnataka.

the largest manufacturers of the product in Kerala and was the first to have adopted frontier technology like twin screw twin dye down stream process of batten field.The main factory and the corporate officers are located at in Punaloor, the second unit at Edamon, and the third in Thenkasi. facilities. Workers take active interest in their jobs and work with a feeling of involvement and participation.
To make the workers happy and satisfied. To relieve workers from industrial fatigue and to improve

intellectual, cultural and material conditions of living of the workers.

NEED OF THE STUDY


This research study will help to understand the prevailing problems in the company. Identifying the problems helps the company to forecast according to that. To improve the productivity of the organization.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY


 To know and understand about the employee

morale.
 To find out the various factors leading to employee morale

in the organization.
 To know the level of morale of the employees working in

solve plastics pvt ltd.


 To know the level of satisfaction of the employees towards

the company.
 To suggest measures to increase morale of the employees.

y The study was on 50 selected employees, so

their need not be the universal opinion.
