topper in his batch Started in the hospitality industry in 1984 After working in many hotels, became the Executive Chef of the Centaur Hotel in Mumbai

His television show won the Best Cookery Show Award given by the Indian Television Academy (ITA) in 2001 Received Best Executive Chef of World Award by H & FS Also received the Mercury Gold Award at Geneva, Switzerland Singapore Airlines recruited him as member of its International Culinary Panel

In 2010 Kapoor launched Sanjeev Kapoors Khazana Released a no. of books & CDs for his recipes Also launched brand Wonderchef Enabling Indian women to empower themselves by starting their own business
