originated in New York city. Fancy footwork, body freezes, head spins, martial arts moves, groundwork, stylized leg movements.

Dancers faces touch each other. Partner dance.

Salsa dancing
African & European influence A partner dance, line dancing & Rueda de casino Foot movements, body rolls, turns and movements, attitude, partners hold with each other.

Polka dance
Originated in bohemia. Traditional folk dance in Ireland. Vivacious couple dance.

Popping-n-locking
Originated from Fresno. It allows interaction with contestants & spectators. Locking is a combination of street dance & funk dance. Movements are large, rhythmic, freezing from a fast movement, performed quite continuously. Distinctive dress style.

Dance institutions

It is a platform where one can develop its own dancing skills. It helps to motivate and influence certain curricular activities among an individual. Some institutions do provide opportunities in reality shows and in films as background dancers.

 Such institutions welcome students of any age. i.e from small children's, adults, mid aged, old peoples etc. It keeps body mentally as well as physically fit. It helps in reducing stress level.

There are some dance institutions which conduct and teach only a particular western type of dance i.e. Salsa , Ballroom Dancing, Hip-Hop .
