Safety Task Evaluation Process CRANE OPERATION ANALYSIS

Problem
Large Lifts are always well organized and equipped managed with a detailed, formal Lift Plan Resulting in no problems Everyday, Routine Crane Operations cause most of our heartaches due to lack of adequate planning.

Mission
To have those employees involved in the hoisting operation to analyze the task, plan the lift, and complete the hazard assessment card as a group to establish good communications and assure job scope understanding.

Expectation
To analyze all lifts Choose wire rope slings where possible rather than fiber or chain Mechanical devices should not be used in a load bearing leg When fitting the load, load may transfer CG may shift Operators and signalmen must maintain continuous and undivided communication
