FINDINGS:
Lack of training & financial assistance from government. Absence of RMC (Regulatory Market Community). Traders & commission agents take a pivotal role in price discovery. Distance between assembling and trading market is high. Lack of quick transportation & cold storage facility. Marketed mainly as mouth freshener.

SUGGESSIONS:
Farmers should be well trained with modern techniques. Cold storage & refrigerated transportation. Direct linking between farmers and traders (e-choupal). Should be used for medicinal & other valuable purposes. Should be sold in sachets.
