Pantaloon Retail (India) ltd is the flagship enterprise of the Future Group. Its was originally incorporated as Manzwear pvt.ltd on Oct 12, 1987. The companies name was changed to Manzwear ltd on sep 20,1991 And then further to pantaloon fashions (india) ltd. On sep 25,1992 and to pantaloon retail (India) ltd on July 7, 1999.
With a focus on the youth of today, Pantaloons offers trendy and hip fashion that defines the hopes and aspirations of this demography.
All Pantaloons stores reflect the new ideology - Fresh Feeling, Fresh Attitude, Fresh Fashion. The first Pantaloons was opened in Gariahat in 1997.
