ET2 is concerned with integrating technology into Teaching and Learning. Specifically this is focus on introducing, reinforcing, supplementing and extending the knowledge and skills to the learner so that they can become exemplary users of educational technology.

ET2 will involve a deeper understanding of the computer as well as hands-on application of computer skills. But this is NOT to say that the goal of the course is to promote computer skills, rather, the course is primarily directed at enhancing teaching-learning through TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION.

ET2 aim to infuse technology in the student-teacher training, helping them to adapt and meet rapid and continuing technological changes, particularly in the thriving global information and communication technology (ICT) environment.

Objectives:

To provide education in the use of technology in instruction by providing knowledge and skills on technology integration-in-instruction to learners. To impart learning experiences in instructional technology supported instructional planning To acquaint students on information technology or IT-related learning theories with the computer as a tutor

Many college students are presently required to take computer course including word processing (MS office, Excel, PowerPoint) How do you think this will help application of skills needed in ET2? For those who have done internet surfing/searching/reading, what do the websites offer users? Do you think there are enough websites for educational purposes? Do you think there are many users of educational websites?

How do Philippine schools compare with other schools in progressive countries in the Asia Pacific Regions? The Plan of DEPeD is to supply computers to public elementary and high schools at a ratio of 1 school to 1 computer. How adequate or inadequate do you find this plan considering that the public school system in the Philippines has an average of 1,000 students in each school. What can be proposed so that the Philippines can cope up with its neighbors on IT education? Filipinos, including students, are hooked up on cellphone texting. Is this enough for information skills literacy for our citizens and youths? Mentioned the benefits and disadvantages of our texting culture
