According to Hamrin and Erikson, guidance is an aspect of educational programme which is concerned especially with helping the pupil to become adjusted to her present situation and to plan his future in line with his interests, abilities and social needs.

COUNSELING
According to Wren, counseling is a dynamic and purposeful relationship between two people, who approach a mutually defined problem with mutual consideration of each other to the end that the trouble one or less mature is aided to a self determined resolution of his problem.
