Understanding role of nurses in achieving health related flagships and MDGs will go a long way in the achievement of Vision 2030 for a healthy nation is a rich nation Nurses are the cornerstone of nations health care industrythey not only offer care and comfort, but also serve as role models for good health care Nurses identify where improvements are needed to increase access, promote prevention, coordinate care, and improve quality and efficiency of healthcare for national cohesion and sustainable development
SYNOPSIS
Nurses are the main professional component of front line staff in most health systems and their contribution is recognized as essential in meeting development goals and delivering safe and effective care
Youth
Empower the youth with relevant knowledge, skills and attitude, inculcating a culture of responsibility, hard work & accountability
NURSING
Impart knowledge & skills to improve management of social systems, change of mindset (attitude change) towards nurturing a cohesive and knowledgeable society, with a culture of tolerance, equity, nationalism, respect and value for life and basic human rights
Housing
Develop relevant human resources capacity to transform and manage the housing sector in view of natural resources & human habitation
Environment
Provide appropriate manpower training on environmental management, providing a basis for mindset change towards positive environmental behaviour.
