Overall the film earned plaudits from film critics Said to be the movie of the year with an average score of 9/10 on rottentomatoes.com BUT: Some reviewers pointed out that the film plays loosely with the facts behind Facebook's founding everything that s seen isn t necessarily to be believed Zuckerberg s opinion: it s hugely basic things they got wrong, like the whole motivation for creating Facebook was to get girls Kirkpatrick says: Neither Fincher or Sorkin seem that interested in Facebook. They use the growth and the money as background phenomena. They don't begin to understand it's social political and zeitgeist role.

Although Mark Zuckerberg is the founder of the largest invasive social network (making personal information publicly available and states that the age of privacy is over), it is interesting how little information there is to find about him on the internet Facebook is still growing and there are new applications and services every month which keep adding to the company s value Despite the early pressures to cash-in on the fledgling company Zuckerberg was smart enough not to sell the company at the beginning before it could reach its full potential and the rest is history
