In general, all but one ACCHS doctors said that cupping is not useful for bi-polar with mostly manic episodes. Dr. Fang says cup Heart, Liver and Kidney, Small Intestine meridians. J. Horowitz says to cup UB15 and UB13, UB20. Source: 12 ACCHS TCM Professors, 2004.

Ayurveda also uses Vacha (Acorus calamus calamus root - Shi Chang Pu) combined with Brahmi (Centella asiatica or Di Qien Cao in Mandarin) for this same reason
