Sylhet Women's Medical College is situated in the heart of Sylhet city. Sylhet city is divisional headquarters of Sylhet.

Degree: Graduation: M.B.B.S. Duration of Course: The MBBS course is for duration of five (5) academic years of studies followed by one year internship after graduation (as per Government rules and regulations). Course and Curriculum: The course and curriculum for five academic years will be the same year published by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and approved by the faculty of Medicine of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet. Quality Assurance Scheme: To maintain quality education and proper implementation of curriculum, the quality assurance scheme is fully implemented. For which the following committees are formed and they are always meeting and discussion. These are: 1. Academic Council: Ultimate responsibility for MBBS course quality assurance and Faculty development. 2. Course Committee: Responsible for Development, Delivery and Evaluation of MBBS course and review resources. 3. Phase Co-ordination Group: Delivery of respective phases of MBBS course, Monthly evaluation and annual report to Course Committee

Non Bangladeshi Students Sylhet Womens Medical College has the permission to accept 25% foreign students. Intending candidates are to apply to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Bangladesh through their respective embassies and high commissions.
