Characteristics of successful Communication: 1. Clarity 2. Completeness 3. Conciseness or Brevity 4. Courtesy or politeness 5. Correctness

1) Clarity :Convey message must be clear. A good communication requires clarification. Make specific statement. 2) Completeness: Completeness of message is quite necessary. Organized message such way that no doubt remain in receivers mind.

3) Conciseness or Brevity: Message should be concise and to the point. Unnecessary details may bore the receiver. Good communication include Only relevant facts are to be included. One should avoid repetition.One should organize his thoughts very well.

4) Courtesy or politeness: In the age cut- throat competition, we must create friendliness with those with whom we make correspondence. Friendliness is that thing which cant be separated form courtesy; one should be polite with his customers to get the favour. for example, Thank you, sorry, we regret etc. 5) Correctness: Communication should be correct as far as language from and content is concerned. One should be very careful in transmitting correct facts in correct language.

Objectives of Communication
1. Information : one of the most important objective of communication is passing and receiving information about a particular circumstances. In the organization the manager offer complete and precise information. 2. Advice : A businessman can't have specialized knowledge of all branches like finance, taxation etc. If he want to run his business successfully so he will have to seek expert advice.

3. Order : For the purpose of order, we have to communicate with other people in our daily life. Orders should be clear and complete and placed given in a friendly way. 4. Suggestion : Suggestion is very mild and subtle form of communication. Now a days progressive houses make a provision for suggestion boxes. In the company workers are encouraged to drop their suggestions in to there boxes.

5. Knowledge : Knowledge is a very conscious process of communication. It is also a long term process which requires of both receives and the render. The main purpose of knowledge is to educate as well as to improve silks of employees in the company. 6. Education : The main important objective of communication is to widen knowledge as well as to improve skills. It is Carried on at three levels. (1)At the management level. (2) At the level of employees (3) At the level of out side public
