By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Perform core RMS navigational and set up tasks Define and use the organizational hierarchy structure Define and use the merchandise hierarchy structure Describe the supplier structure and financial interface Describe the differences in the new item types Add items of all types, including items with differentiators Use grouping tools to enhance application and workflow efficiency Process cost changes. Create, distribute, submit, and approve purchase orders View inventory. Create transfers, returns to vendor and mass return transfers

RMS overview
What is RMS? RMS is the Oracle Retail Merchandising System It is Oracle Retails core transaction system and serves as the central focus point for information flowing throughout the enterprise. RMS is a user-friendly system built using the Oracle database and is designed to handle retail needs for fashion or department stores, grocery stores, mass merchandisers, and hardlines stores.

RDM Oracle Retail Distribution Management: Warehouse functions such as picking, shipping & receiving.

RDF Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting: uses historical data to forecast sales. RTM Oracle Retail Trade Management: importing product to track duties, tariffs, etc. ReIM Oracle Retail Invoice Matching: auto-processes receipts against supplier. ReSA Oracle Retail Sales Audit: sales transactions come from POS to ReSA, which cleans up the data. Data is then sent back to RMS.
