 I. INTRODUCTION.
Hewadwal Road and Building Construction Company has been founded registered and
obtained its legal working permits from the relevant authorities in 2003 in Kabul
Afghanistan. Since then, the Company has practically started playing its significant role
in the process of the war torn country in the field of road and building construction in the
capital Kabul and some other provinces of Afghanistan. The company however in the
starting period of its operation in the filed of construction had to face some
unprecedented challenges and severe problems due to non availability professional
and skilled personal and lack of trusted building materials, but due to untiring efforts,
dedication and sense of patriotism of the management of the company we could
successfully overcome the obstacles and meet the challenges of those problems.
To achieve the heart wanted and positive results from the performances accomplished
every company should be managed, equipped and supported by comparatively
competitive professional and skilled personal, state of the art machinery and adequate
financial support. consequently Hewadwal had always tried to hire and employ highly
qualified and experienced engineers architects, designers, managerial staff and skilled
workers who have been working constantly with the company with complete devotion,
sincerity, dedication and honesty. The company had employed energetic skilled and
capable team of technical personals to undertake all sorts of construction in the filed of
civil, electrical, mechanical and road net work. In order to produce and achieve high
standard quality work in the construction of high ways and housing projects the
company had inducted experienced, technical and professional team from foreign
countries i.e. Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and India.
Hewadwal as a company had started its operations in the area of construction in
Afghanistan not only on the base of business means and the objectives of earnings, but
the main and imperative reason to undertake its obligation and responsibilities that
every afghan should perform it on the bases ultimate visions for our mother land and
the oppressed people of Afghanistan that had been victim of foreign invasion and
destructive civil war. We acknowledged that as our vision and thanks Allah the

The road construction department of the company is being operated and managed by a
board of experienced and highly qualified engineers and skilled staff. Since its
foundation the company has been offering its services and actively involved in the
projects of road and housing construction projects. Honesty dedication and most of all
serving the people of Afghanistan who have suffered a lot due to the destructive civil war
and soviet invasion is the most imperative sense and far sighted vision in the area of
operation of Hewadwal. The company is fully paying its full attention to get the mostly
use d and high quality heavy machinery, thus regarding the heavy equipment the
company is equipped comparatively with most modern and advanced and stated of the
art construction machinery. Hewadwal in its ongoing projects of road and building
construction is utilizing the type and category of the machinery that fully complies with
the needs and requirements of the projects and terms and conditions of the contracts.

Qala-e- Zaman khan Road Project:
The road construction of Qala Zaman khan with the length of 9.5 kilometres and width of
60 meter funded by the municipality of Kabul and implemented by Hewadwal Co. the
project starts from the residential project of Ahmadsha Baba Mina passes through shina
and Qala Zamankhan villages and connected to Microyan #4. the construction of the
road is above 85% completed. In remaining section of the road the progress is slow
because, the municipality of Kabul has not been able to convince the residence of the
area and persuade them for dismantling of the houses in the line of the road and more
than that the outstanding bills of the company are delayed unnecessarily. As soon the
problem of the land and house in the direction of the road the work on remaining section
of the road would be finished in shortest possible time.

Rahman Mina Road Project:
The road construction of Rahman mina with the length of 5.7 kilometres and width of 60
meter funded by the municipality of Kabul and implemented by Hewadwal Co. the
project starts from Sia sang gas station and prolong to the sought through (Istiqal
Resdidential project) and ends at the edge of planned ring Road at sought of Kabul city.
The construction work of above 80% of the road is completed. Beside The mentioned
road is consisting of several culverts , box culverts and also side drains all along the
road.

Renovation and Paving of the Kabul main city Road :
The municipality of Kabul has signed the agreement in connection to the renovation
and paving a number of the different roads located in Kabul city. The preliminary
works in this regards have been completed and the reviewed designs are being
worked out. The roads that have been contracted to Hewadwal are as follows:

 Muqoumat square to zambaq square
 Women Garden to Bagh bala square
 Edgah to Mukriayan # 1 South of Stadium
 kart-e-Now to Stadium & theatre chowk
 Circular Road Project Mukriayan Side
 Shashdarak road to the military club.
Most of The mentioned above road in Kabul city have already been constructed
based on the contract articles. And the remaining would also be renovated and
paved immediately after the approval of the design.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT OF HEWADWAL

ESTIQLAL RESIDETIAL PROJECT RAHMAN MINA:

The project is located in Rahman Mina and the covering area is 700*150 square meters.
A total of 110 apartment buildings would be constructed in the size of six storey
buildings. The total number of the residential apartments would be 1600. The survey and
the design of the project has been prepared and completed by engineering department
of the company which is managed and run by the experienced and highly qualified
engineers and surveyors while keeping in account all the necessary and essential
requirements by using the latest technology and modern method. The first phase of the
project which includes 27 buildings and 400 apartments is in the process of completion
and in compliance with items and articles of the agreement; the apartments of the first
phase would be distributed to the owners in the near future. The second phase of the
project that includes 27 buildings and 400 apartments is under construction and is strictly
observed and calculated by the high qualified and experienced engineers and skilled
staff of the Hewadwal Co. taking into accounts all the required steps and measures. The
social and community necessities i.e. market; clinic, mosque, school, child care centre
and park have been included.
The area of the third and fourth phase of the project has been covered and the soil
resistant tests of the area have been successful done in modern and certified
laboratories. The excavation works in some area have taken place. it is worth to mention
The that cost of above mentioned project is comprising over 60 million USD,

In hairatan the bordering city of Afghanistan with Uzbekistan in Balkh province
Hiwad Wal has effectively been succeeded in transportation of all materials and
equipments necessary for installation of a total of 11 five thousand tons volume
reservior and 2 reservoir with storing capacity of two thousand tons to the
specific sites in Hairatan with the storing capacity of 61000000 (sixty one
thousand Liter) equal to (16116248.348 US Gallons) having all the essential
commodities attached. The working process of construction of these fuel
storage facilities of 41000000 forty one thousand Liter equal to(10832232.496 US
Gallon) have been completed and the reservoirs are operational and are
offering storage services in the field of petroleum in Hairatan, and the remaining
storage facilities are under construction in full swing by the engineers and
experts from Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan employed by Hiwad Wal

In Mazar Sharif the center of Balkh province Kanduz, Qandahar and Hirat

HGT has imported the transportation vehicles in compliance with the needs and
requirements of its own and keeping in into account the order placement of the
open market of Afghanistan, the flowing categories from Russian manufacturing
unit of Kamaz
 120 vehicles of Kamaz fuel tankers manufactured in 2006 having the capacity
for carriage of 20000 twenty thousand liters of fuel each. These tankers have
been imported in partnership of another company and can be used and
operated for the accomplishment of the obligations of the company (Samim
Rental and Transportation LLC) when ever required to do so.
280 vehicles of Kamaz in the shape of open trucks for transportation and
carriage of cargo in Afghanistan. The above mentioned vehicles were
imported by Hiwad Wal against the placement of an order by another
company in Afghanistan.
15 fuel filling tanker trucks with installations and equipment of fuel counter for
delivering of fuel requirement to the aircrafts in Kabul international airport,
Kabul Afghanistan.

necessary supplementary fittings to address the requirements of the weather
and the wretched conditions of the roads in Afghanistan.

With the aim of honesty and dedication in addition to fuel and other items
Hiwadwal General trading felt necessary to import and distribute the food items
of the good quality in Afghanistan which is thought to be one of the major and
much demanded items in our country.
Since hiwadwal General trading has constantly been importing and
distributing great quintiles of flour and other food items from neighboring
countries to Afghanistan , now it became The leading importer of various food
items in Afghanistan.

The reservoir of 35000 MT Hairatan and 10000 MT in Kabul have
already been installed constructed and ready for operations and

3. Hiwad Wal would accept any challenge for successful installation of
petroleum tank in destination in Afghanistan and would complete
the construction of the required reservoir in any province of
Afghanistan within two months period if requested to as we have already
imported the materials and supplementary equipments for 40000 forty
thousand metric tons of petroleum and has been transported to
Kabul ready for installation in anywhere in Afghanistan if it was
requested to perform such task.
4. To overcome the task of safe on time and smooth carriage of the petroleum
materials inside Afghanistan Hiwad wal has been playing its
significant role in addressing the needs and requirements of Afghanistan.
The vehicles used for transportation of fuel are fully equipped with
all the necessary equipments to address fluctuating weather condition in
Afghanistan such as thermostat system chains, anti freeze chemicals in
diesel tanks of the tankers and essential commodities for the drivers to
meet the climate ups and downs. The tankers transporting every
category of fuel is separated and absolutely transporting that
category of fuel in order to avoid mixture in fuel.
5. In addition to the tanker of long distance transportation Hiwad Wal has
imported sufficient number of fuel distributing tanker truck for filling
of the aircrafts in Afghanistan. The vehicles are equipped with all necessary
commodities and essentials required for filling the aircraft. The
tankers used for this purpose are having the capacity of 30000 thirty
thousand liter tanks.
