A brief overview
Project Framework
 The project follows the Constructivism paradigm, in accordance with the principle that
the knowledge, development and learning processes are not innate skills of the
individual, but that they are functions generated by social interactions, multiple
relations and specific contexts.

 During a first phase the children are teachers and the parents
are pupils

 On the following phase the parents teach the children how to


learn, working as facilitators

The children teach to their  the adults will single out some
parents how to use the ICT tools contents, based on their knowledge
Project Aims & Objectives
 To develop a learning community of children and parents by involving
them in a joint learning and educational path
 To realize a virtual community online, where the activities are structured
like a learning game and define its rules
 To help parents and children to work, organize and learn together
 To realize the online e-learning contents both for children and for parents
 To promote and acquire new competencies tied to the cognitive-dialogue,
to the language, to the relation, to the confrontation, also between
generations.

N.B.
 The actors of the educational process work in a dialogical system which
allows the funny acquirement of knowledge
Project Main Products
REPORT ON SOCIAL RESEARCH

The report will contain: 1. the description of the methodology to be used by all the partners of the
project, 2. the results of national studies especially regarding the organization of work, free-time
activities and training needs. This information, together with the critical and comparative analysis
on social studies, will be the starting point of the project to define common characteristics of the
subjects studied. This will allow the realization of a personalized and common learning.

VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
The virtual environment will host the online community and will be a sharing experience with
integration characteristics. These can be described as a place where things happen, you meet other
people while exchanging information. To built up the Virtual Environment the project will use
different tools.

E-SHOP
The e-shop will make participants more active and collaborative. The system is based on the
number of points/credits (virtual currency) of the activities in the communities. The system
captures a post in the forum, writing in a wiki, filling in of a form, carrying out a task, taking part to
a game.
Project Main Products
LEARNING GAME

The project aims at using multiplayer videogames online transversally – that is on different
domains – as with a quiz, a video/photographic competition, audio material, etc.

GAME MANUAL

The manual will be in English and in the other languages of the participating countries and will be
indispensable to start the experimentation because it explains how the games work.

NATIONAL REPORTS AND SINTHESYS REPORT ON THE EXPERIMENTATION

The national reports will be the final document describing the results of the experimentation.
The final synthesis report will be the final document summarizing the project results and analyzing
weaknesses and strengths.

VIDEOSPOT

The Video-SPOT will be a diffusion instrument built by all partners. It will reach the individual
involving him in the work. It will be published on the project’s website and broadcasted on local
and/or national television in each participating country.
