PDMA/DDMA/ICT DMA??? Draft of ISSUE Operationalization on Disaster

Management Authority for ICT was sent to NDMA through Ministry of Interior U.O.No.F.5/6/2009-ICT-II dated 10th June, 2009. Following Observations were raised by NDMA via U.O.No.F.1(10)/2009NDMA(M&E) dated 31st July, 2009
Establishment of ICT DMA is illegal Stress on creation of 2 authorities; PDMA at Provincial and DDMA at District Level

Accordingly DC-ICT initiated case forRawalpindi above mentioned authorities vide No. 4(25)May 13, 2012 CDO/2009.Vol-III dated 3rdICT Administration November, 2009 8

PDMA/DDMA/ICT DMA??? Then Ministry ISSUE of Interiors letter No.1899/10-DS(S)

dated 20th May, 2010 for implementation of NDRP (National Disaster Response Plan 2010) After serious deliberations ICT Administration shared their observations vide No.4(25)-CDO/2010Vol-IV dated 29th October, 2010
Due to peculiar nature of ICT two separate authorities at Provincial and District Level are not viable. Till the establishment of ICT DMA alternate arrangements as per NDRP 2010 were made

Interestingly the above stance is completely in line with the NDRP 2010 itself.
