.. a series of activities and tasks with a specified objective, starting and ending dates and requires resources. Made up of three elements: Planning-deciding what to do. Scheduling- deciding when to do it. Controlling- assuring that desired results are obtained.

A Project is.
.. a time and cost constrained operation to realize a set of deliverables (the scope to fulfill the projects objectives) up to the quality standards and requirement. The number of projects are growing at an exponential pace, world wide.

Project Management is
the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of activities in order to meet the objectives of a particular project. project

SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT IS AS PER THE TENDER SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICATION PROVIDES DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PLANT/SYSTEM TO BE PROVIDED INCLUDING AND THEIR RATED PARAMETERS COTRACTOR DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, SUPPLY, ERECT & COMMISSION THE SYSTEM AS RER THE SPECIFICATIONS

DESIGN AND QUANTITY CALCULATION IS THE SCOPE OF EMPLOYER MAJOR MATERIALS (STEEL, CEMENT) ARE SUPPLIED BY EMPLOYER SCOPE OF THE CONTRACTOR INCLUDES CONSUMABLES, T&P, MANPOWER AND FEW SUPPLY ITEMS EXECUTION AS PER THE DESIGN OF EMPLOYER IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRACTOR

PACKAGE GENERALLY MEASUREMENT IS DONE ON TONNAGE BASIS
