Height Work - Permit To Work

PTW is issued to all Tower Erection and Dismantling Works and are issued by respective cluster manager. Only Workers who are trained in the working at height work can work at height. The same has been monitored by the respective safety person/Supervisor of the respective team

Height Work Tower Erection/Dismantling

Ensure use of proper PPEs like Helmet, Safety Harness, Safety Gloves, Safety Shoes, Sun glasses.

Always carry tools in Waist Pouches

No Height work to be Carried out in case of Inclement weather condition as such as Rain, Lightning, Heavy Wind, Etc.

Dos Ensure the Work Permit Conditions are fulfilled at site Provide Barricade/Barricade Tape around the tower/site Use approved types of PPEs only Inspect Safety Harness, Safety Helmet, Safety Gloves and Safety Shoes before using them Check and confirm proper fit of PPEs before start working Replace the PPE if not feel comfortable Wear PPE at ground / base level before reaching height Maintain 3-Point Contact while reaching the height or climbing the ladder Always Hook the Safety harness upon reaching the required working point Use Good Quality Tools Remove all Scraps or Unused material from site on completion of work

Donts Do not work on height if you are unfit or not well Do not work under the influence of alcohol, drug and heavy medication Do not wear loose clothing Do not use damaged or defective PPEs Do not remove Safety Harness, Safety Helmet, Safety Gloves and Safety Shoes anytime while working at Height Never work under or stand under suspended material Do not work on tower in Bad Weather conditions like Rain, Storm, High Heat, Very Cold Do not work alone on the tower Do not smoke, chew tobacco, use mobile while working at Height Do not use Safety harness for lifting the material Do not remove and leave the PPE at height, whenever taking a break
