It is the process of providing HR with relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes.
It is a process consisting of interrelated steps It is a planned effort It is a continuous Process.

1- changes in the workplace & workforce: since Tr. Aids Orgs to cope with the changes of both workplace (Tech, Structure, facilities ) and employees.

2- maintaining competitiveness & improving productivity: Tr. Was found to be associated


with higher performance and strengthen Orgal Competitiveness (Japanese & German firms)

3- Regulatory requirements: In most countries Tr. Is a mandatory by laws and regulations specially for new employees.

A- On-the- Job training Training that takes place in the work site, using actual facilities by senior employees or supervisors. B- Off-the- Job training
Training that takes place off work sites ; in training centers, using educational facilities by professional trainers.
