ANALOG & DIGITAL

why people have started to leave the object analog collection systemand prefer a digital system

Analog

A form of electronic communication which is the process of sending information on the electromagnetic wave, and are variableand continuous or collectively, the analog signal

For example images on the television signal, or noise on the radiothat is sent continuously. Analog is the process of sending a signal in the waveform elekromagnetik (radio waves) a continuous basis, which is influenced by many factors and voice disorders.

DIGITAL

Is the result of technology that converts the signal into a combination of sequence numbers 0 and 1 (also called binary) to processinformation in an easy, fast and accurate. The signal is called a bit.DIGITUS Digital comes from the word, in Greek means fingers. Ifwe count the fingers of adults, the amount of ten (10). The valueconsists of ten 2 radix, ie 1 and 0 , therefore Digital is a depiction ofa state number consisting of digits 0 and 1 or off and on (binary). All computer systems using the digital system as its data base

unique digital features that can not be found on analog technology, namely:

1. Able to transmit information at lightning speed to make theinformation can be sent at high speed. 2. Repeated use of the information does not affect the quality andquantity of information itself 3. Information can beeasily processed and modified in various for ms, 4. Can process information in very large numbers and send theminteractively.

Examples of objects that use analogtechnology:

TV: analog televisions that translates the signals

using radio waves.Television transmitter to send images and sound over radio waves, received by an antenna at home and translated into images we watch. Camera: the image of storage systems using the film. The cameracaptures an object and then save the object to the film Cassette: use a tape storage system that has been recorded by a data recorder

Technology and Digital Analo g Converters

In turn information into electrical signals that are ready to send, there are two, namely: the first information signal into an analog signalwhich form a continuous electrical wave is then sent by the transmission media, the second is a digital signal, which after moreinformation is converted into an analog signal is then convertedagain into disjointed. In signal transmission t hrough the transmission media, analog signal so that the interference will be exposed to signal the receiver side tereggodasi. while for the digitalsignal, as long as interference does not exceed acceptable limits, the signal is still acceptable in the same quality with the delivery
