Managers in media hold the most responsibility and are largely responsible for the organisation of the production. Jobs in the creative sector are not so much inclined with content, but rather how it is presented and appreciated. Researchers often contribute ideas for programmes, find contacts and contributors and collect, verify and prepare information for a particular programme A researcher may have the responsibility for fact checking, to make sure everything is legally correct or relevant to the programme They may also source copyright for literary and music content and gain permission for any material used They may also be involved in picture research examining archives for film or video that could be used in a specific programme like a documentary.
