Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. - John 20:30-31

We want to walk with Jesus for the next 8 weeks so that we may know Him as the Messiah, the Son of God and that we would experience a fulfilling LIFE in Him!

Do you want to have a fulfilling LIFE?

Come, let's walk with Jesus together...

Who is this Jesus?

How does John introduce Him?

John 1:1-18
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:1-18
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

John 1:1-18
9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:1-18
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, 'He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.'") 16 And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.

We walk with Jesus, the Pre-existing, glorious, humble God.

Jesus was... in the beginning.

We walk with Jesus who was right there at the very beginning.

Jesus was God.

Jesus IS God.

Jesus will always be God.

We walk with Jesus who was, and is, and will always be God!

We walk with Jesus, the God of the universe.

Jesus made all things.

We walk with Jesus, the Creator of all things.

Jesus is the Source of life.

We walk with Jesus, the Giver of the breath of life.

We walk with Jesus, the Giver of a fulfilling life.

I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. - Jesus (John 10:10b)

Are you excited to walk with Jesus?

We walk with Jesus, the Pre-existing, glorious, humble God.

John 1:1-18

John 1:1-18
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

Jesus (God) sent a witness.

John the Baptist

Jesus is the light.

(Not John the Baptist)

Light vs. Darkness

Jesus enlightens us to the truth. Jesus rescues us out of the darkness of sin.

We walk with Jesus, the Light in the midst of this dark world.

We walk with Jesus, the Light, in spite of our dark hearts.

We walk with Jesus, the Pre-existing, glorious, humble God.

John 1:1-18

Jesus drew near to the people whom He made.

We walk with Jesus, who first drew near to us.

Jesus drew near to people but was rejected.

We walk with Jesus, the one whom we have rejected and taken for granted for so many times.

Jesus adopts us into God's family as His children.

We walk with God, our Heavenly Father.

We walk with Jesus, our Heavenly Brother.

Oh what an amazing and glorious Jesus that we have!

We walk with Jesus, the Pre-existing, glorious, humble God.

John 1:1-18

Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us.

We walk with Jesus, who humbled Himself.

Philippians 2:5-8
5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Jesus gives grace and grace and grace and...

We walk with the gracious Jesus.

Jesus is the truth and the source of all truth.

We walk with Jesus, who will tell us the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Jesus' glory reveals God the Father's glory.

Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. - Jesus (John 14:9b)

We walk with Jesus; we walk with God.

When we walk with Jesus, we are walking with God.

Can you imagine the implications of this?

People are following all sorts of teachers / authors / success experts throughout the world.

Follow Jesus and you'll be following the God who made you and the whole world you live in.

I Will Follow

We walk with Jesus, the Pre-existing, glorious, humble God.
