She has conducted extensive research on many topics, including: 1) on the use of reproductive technologies and donor gametes in creating alternative American families; 2) she has worked among Afghan refugees in Iran, exploring both perceptions and use of family planning and the impact of war and forced migration on Afghan culture and life, 3) and started a brief project exploring the impact of occupation on Palestinian meanings of space, gender, and identity. She has numerous academic articles published in scholarly journals, and has written a book, A Path to Isfahan: Life in Iran with My Two Sons (see: www.navesh.com publication pending).
She is also a mother, writer, musician, dancer, swimmer, world traveler, and whatever else comes to mind that sounds interesting at the time. But she is currently working on recovering from low back pain and reclaiming her life.vizualizați mai puține
