Mudras au fost practicate in toate timpurile si de catre toate religiile.

Chiar si noi fiecare


in parte practicam mudras fara sa realizam de fapt acest lucru.
Mudra inseamna pur si simplu pozitii ale mainilor si degetelor (Mudras
este pluralul). E imposibil sa nu fi vazut niciodata pozitii statui
reprezentandu-i pe Isus, Buddha, Mahavi sau hiva (si binenteles ca lista de
nume este mult mai lunga ( am amintit aici doar cativa foarte cunoscuti) in
timp mainile si degetele ne sunt prezentate in anumite pozitii (ipostaze).
Mudra reprezinta de asemeni un gest sau actiune simbolica, care este o
e!presie psihica a unei stari interioare.
Beneficiul adus de mudras este e!trem de important. prin aceste e!ercitii
se poate obtine o sanatate mai buna, daca o avem de"a - se poate mentine,
mudrele sunt folosite chiar si in dans (involuntar), ritualuri, ceremonii...
Va prezentam doar cateva dintre ele:
GYAN MUDRA
#egetul mare si aratatorul sunt unite intr-un conctact lin, nu presand
puternic, in timp ce celelalte degete sunt tinute vertical. $ceasta este
mudra cu care oamenii sunt cel mai familiarizati.
Marii ganditorii si invatati ca Buddha , Mahavir , Isus si %uru &ana' sunt
prezentati in aceasta atitudinie (pozitie). Este practicata pentru a asigura
pacea mentala, concentrarea, mintea patrunzatoare si sentimentele
spirituale.
(indeca insomnia si dizarmoniile mentale, inlatura tensiunile, depresiile si
somnolenta (moleseala). $ceasta este in mod sigur pentru cei care practica
mudras, )oga, fingerthose, pentru cei ce se ocupa de telepatia sau doresc sa

In a teeming trans-Yamuna locality of Delhi, India, lies the i!ekanand Yogashram"

LI/GA MUDRA

accumulated phlegm in the chest"

Due to the heat it generates, it may not &e possi&le to practice this
mudra with as much ease and fle$i&ility as the other mudras" It
might pro!e ta$ing and result in a feeling of lethargy"
SHU/-A MUDRA
Bring the middle finger down to touch the palm and &ring the padding
of the thum& on top of it, keeping the other fingers straight up"
Do this for *? minutes a day"
'his mudra is ideal for ailments of the ear, and also helps those of the
nose and the throat"

1ARU/A MUDRA

'ouch the tip of the little finger with the tip of the thum& while the other fingers are
kept upright"
