Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to complain about biased and inaccurate portryal of stundents,in the article
etitled "It's a student's life" writed by James Faraday.Following a discussion of the article
in our class, i have been chosen to express our disagreement with this article.
First of all the students don't live odd other people's money.Their Parents work to give
them money to follow an university.Furthermore there are stundets that work at part-time
jobs while studyin and they pass the exams successfully.
Secondly some of the students don't have "life of luxury" and they have financial
problems. This is a kind ok stress, the stress of money.Sometimes the halls look miserable
and the tax is too big. What is more there are students who have difficulty finding
acomodation.
I would like also to point out that the students can contribue to society after graduation in
all the domains like:science, residents, protect the nature etc.
To conclude, we found your article to be extremely inaccurate in its assessment of
student's life.We look forward to redress the balance by printing a positive article about
students.
Yours faithfully,
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with regard to the article entitled Its a Students Life which was published
in your magazine last month. After reading it, I felt strongly in disagreement with the
reporters claim that students are lazy and they do not know what working means.
Firstly, the author of the article generalises when describing the students lives. Of course,
there are students who take advantage of their parents and do not study at all. However,
those are a minority among all the hard-working students. It is not fair to describe a group
of people based on how a small group of them behave.
Secondly, it is clearly not true that students do not work. They do not get paid for their
work, but most of them spend many hours on studying and doing their assignments.
Furthermore, some students have a part-time job to help pay for the costly courses they
are taking.
Finally, a significant percentage of students give up with their studies and apply for a job.
This fact shows how difficult becoming a graduate is. Actually, studying can be
considered as a job where workers do not earn a living.
To conclude, this article is incredibly inaccurate in its reflection of the students lives. As
a student, I would strongly suggest you revise the article, since we deserve a more
objective point of view of our way of living.
Yours faithfully,
