Ane-Moni trăia în ocean. Toată ziua stătea
lipită de aceeaşi stȃncă alunecoasă. Cu
tentaculele sale micuţe prindea cȃte ceva
gustos de mȃncat.
În zilele în care se simţea
supărată, tentaculele ei
înţepătoare ţineau celelalte
creaturi la distanţă.
Dar azi se simţea singură pe stȃnca ei.
 - Nu am aripioare.

Sunt altfel decȃt toate

celelalte creaturi.

Nu am picioare.
Chiar şi crabul acela pustnic poate
pleca în aventuri!

- Salvează-mă! Peştele acela

vrea să mă scoată din
cochilie!
Ane-Moni îşi ridică tentaculele şi ascunse
crabul sub ele.

- Pleacă de aici, bătăuş mare ce eşti!

Peştele cel mare îşi arătă dinţii, dar

se temu de înţepătură.
Se lăsă păgubaş şi se îndepărtă dȃnd
obraznic din coadă.

- A fost cȃt pe ce! zise crabul. A trecut

pericolul acum?

- Poţi să ieşi acum, crabule. Cum te

cheamă?

- Herman. Sunt pustnic, dar cred că am

nevoie de o gardă de corp. Aş vrea să fiu
aşa curajos ca tine.
- Eu sunt Ane-Moni. Eu aş vrea să
trăiesc aventuri uimitoare ca tine.

- Şi ce te împiedică? - Sunt legată de stȃnca mea. Şi nu am

întrebă el. picioare! răspunse ea.

- Ei bine, eu nu am cu ce
înţepa, dar am o idee!
Herman o apucă pe Ane-Moni de un La început Ane-Moni pufni, apoi chicoti
tentacul şi începu să danseze în jurul ei, — şi apoi începu să rȃdă atȃt de tare încȃt
făcȃnd tot feluri de figuri. sări de pe stȃncă.
Herman o ridică uşurel şi o aşeză pe
cochilia sa.

- Eşti pregătită? Presimt o aventură,

spuse el.
Ane-Moni se aventurează prin tot Acum îşi foloseşte tentaculele
oceanul, prinzȃnd gustări gustoase. înţepătoare doar pentru a alunga peştii
nesuferiţi din preajma lui Herman.
Şi nu se mai simte singură
deloc.
