Nr. ore/ sptmn Felul verificrii C S Cp 4 2 1 E Tragedia antic Cursul i propune s ofere o panoram a temelor tragediei greceti, relevnd ritualurile i simbolurile mitice ce motiveaz aciunea unor personaje paradigmatice precum Oedip, Oreste, Electra, Medeea, Antigona, Fedra etc. Aceste figuri i legende sunt apoi urmrite, ntr-un demers comparatist, n diferitele lor reeemergene n teatrul renascentist i clasic, modern i postmodern. Cursul ofer o perspectiv sintetic asupra definiiei i originilor tragediei greceti, analiznd conceptul de hybris, conceptul de destin, funcia corului antic, conflictul zei-oameni. Sunt analizate, de asemenea, diverse ritualuri, sacrificii, purificri, aa cum apar n tragedia greac, precum i elementele oculte adiacente (oracole, ghicitori, incantaii, vrji). Cursul radiografiaz ciclurile violenei din tragedia greac, statutul zeilor i al sacrului, precum i varii dispute religioase (conflicte ntre culte). The course aims also to provide a synthetic perspective on the origins and definition of the greek tragedy, analyzing the concept of hybris, the concept of fate, the function of the greek choir, the conflict between gods and men. The course also focuses on different rituals, sacrifices, purifications and occult elements that appear in the greek tragedy (like riddles, oracles, incantations, witchcrafts). There is a special insight on the violent cycles of life, the status of gods and of the sacred, different religious disputes (conflicts between cults).
