Ediia de anul acesta, fnanat de Administraia Fondului Cultural Naional se va desfura n

lunile septembrie-octombrie n trei orae din Romnia: Bucureti (20 septembrie), Iai la Teatru Fix
(11 octombrie) i Cluj- Napoca la Centrul de cultur urban Casino (25 octombrie).
Scopul proiectului Noaptea alb a creatorilor i designerilor de produs (nfinat n anul 2012)
este valorizarea produselor de autor i create de designeri de produs din Romnia prin realizarea
evenimentelor de ni la nivel naional. Realizm o selecie riguroas a participanilor, cu standarde
nalte de creativitate i calitate.
Obiectivul general este construcia transparent i obiectiv a unei comuniti viabile la nivel naional
a creatorilor i designerilor de produs, punnd accentul pe debut, calitate, ncurajarea interveniei
culturale i importana simbiozei tradiie-contemporan. Schimbarea mentalitii c obiectele de autor
sunt inferioare unei opere de art este, de asemenea, un obiectiv important al proiectului. Nu este
o competiie ntre creatorii i designerii prezeni n cadrul evenimentului, ci va f o comunitate bine
nchegat a celor mai buni i a celor ce pot deveni buni.
Proiectul Noaptea alb a creatorilor i designerilor de produs, n anii 2012 i 2013 a fost fnalist la
Gala Societii Civile, seciunea Art i cultur. De asemenea, voluntarii si au fost nominalizai din
2012 la Gala Naional a Voluntarilor, seciunea Art i cultur.

Asociaia Atelierul de Creaie a fost creat n anul 2011 cu scopul de a susine i promova n mod
constant valorile contemporane culturale romneti cu implicaii directe n industria creativ a
designului de produs. Ne implicm din 2011 n promovarea educaiei culturale prin evenimentele
organizate n diferite orae din Romnia, n protejarea i valorifcarea culturii tradiionale romneti
n contemporaneitate, i din 2014 ncurajm mobilitatea cultural prin intermediul evenimentelor
de profl din strintate la care suntem parteneri media: Trgul internaional de produse de autor
Frankfurt Messe, DaWanda Designmark, Handwerk&design Munchen, Tendence Frankfurt.
Din 2010, nainte de a avea un statut juridic, am creat proiectul Revista Atelierul (www.revista-atelierul.ro i
events.revista-atelierul.ro), singura revist dedicat artizanilor i designerilor de produs din Romnia,
revist ce a fost i printat n anul 2011, de asemenea, prin fonduri AFCN (revista gsindu-se n librrii
i spaii de consum de cultur din Iai, Braov, Cluj-Napoca, Trgu-Mure, Constana, Timioara,
Buzu, Oradea). Avem peste 50 de voluntari n cadrul asociaiei, am realizat peste 20 de proiecte
dedicate designerilor de produs n diferite orae din Romnia i suntem parteneri viabili pentru orice
eveniment cultural de profl. n patru ani am publicat mai mult de 10 reviste n format online. De
asemenea, suntem co-organizatorii trgului de produse LaBazar de la festivalul urban Femei pe Mtsari.

This years edition, funded by The Administration of Cultural and National Fund, will take place in the
months of September and October in three Romanian cities: Bucharest (20th September), Iai (11th
October at Teatru Fix) and Cluj-Napoca (25th October, at the Center for Urban Culture Casino).
The purpose of The white night of product creators and designers project (grounded in 2012) is
the valorisation of handmade designer goods created by Romanian product designers, by organizing
niche events at a national level. We select our participants rigorously and we have high creativity and
quality standards.
The general objective is transparently and objectively building a viable national community of product
designers and creators, focusing on debut, quality, encouragement of the cultural intervention and
the importance of the symbiosis between tradition and contemporary. Another important objective of
the project is changing the general belief that handmade designer goods are inferior to an art piece.
It is not a competition between the designers and creators that participate in the event, there will be
a tight community of the best artists and the ones that can become the best.
The project The white night of product creators and designers was one of the 2012 and 2013 fnalists
at the Civil Society Gala, Arts and Culture section. Moreover, its volunteers were nominated starting
with 2012 at the National Volunteers Gala, Arts and Culture section.
The Atelierul de Creaie association was founded in 2011 with the purpose of supporting and
constantly promoting the contemporary Romanian cultural values, with direct involvement in the
creative industry of product design. Since 2011, we are involved in promoting cultural education
through the events organized in various Romanian cities, and protecting as well as capitalizing the
traditional Romanian culture in the contemporary context. Since 2014 we encourage the cultural
mobility through the profle events abroad that were media partners to: Frankfurt Messe International
Fair, DaWanda Designmark, Handwerk&Design Mnchen, Tendence Frankfurt.
In 2010 we created the Revista Atelierul project (www.revista-atelierul.ro, events.revista-atelierul.ro), the
only Romanian magazine dedicated to the product designers and one-of products creators. In 2011
the magazine could be also found in print thanks to AFCN funding and was available in bookstores
and culture consumer spaces in Iai, Braov, Cluj-Napoca, Trgu-Mure, Constana, Timioara, Buzu,
Oradea. We have over 50 active volunteers in the association, we organized over 20 events aimed at
product designers in various cities in Romania and we are reliable partners for any niche cultural
events. In four years, we published over 10 online issues of our magazine, and we are co-organizers
of the LaBazar products fair, part of the Femei pe Mtsari event in Bucharest.
Ldition de cette anne, fnance par les fonds de lAdministration du Fonds Culturel National, aura
lieu aux mois de septembre et octobre en trois villes de Roumanie: Bucarest (20 septembre), Iassy - au
Fix Thtre (11 octobre) et Cluj-Napoca au Casino du parc central (25 octobre).
Le but du projet La nuit blanche des crateurs de produit et des chefs de marque reprsente la mise
en valeur des produits des crateurs roumains, en organisant des vnements de march de niche
au niveau national. Nous avons mis en place un processus de slection rigureux pour les artistes
participants au projet, ayant des hauts standards de qualit et crativit.
Lobjectif gnral du projet est la construction transparente et objective dune communaut nationale
des crateurs de produit et des chefs de marque qui soit viable, en mtant laccent sur leur dbut, la
qualit des produits, lencouragement de lactivit culturelle et limportance de la symbiose tradition-
contemporanit. Un objectif important du projet est aussi de changer la mentalit selon laquelle les
produits des crateurs serainet infrieurs par rapport une oeuvre dart.
Dans le cadre de lvnement ce ne sera pas une comptition entre les crateurs et les chefs de
marque, mais il stabliera une communaut bien lie de ceux qui sont les meilleurs et de ceux qui
peuvent devenir les meilleurs.
Aux annes 2012 et 2013, le projet La nuit blanche des crateurs de produit et des chefs de marque
sest qualife parmi les fnalistes au Gala de la Socit civile, la section Art et culture. De plus, les
collaborateurs bnvoles du projet ont t proposs pour la liste des gagnants du Gala National des
bnvoles en 2012, pour la section Art et culture.
LAssociation Atelierul de Creaie (lAtelier de Cration) a t fonde en 2011 pour soutenir et
promouvoir de faon constante les valeurs contemporaines de la culture roumaine qui ont un
impact direct sur lindustrie de la cration de produit. Depuis 2011, nous contribuons la promotion
de lducation culturelle par les vnements que nous avons organiss dans de diverses villes de
Roumanie, la protection et la mise en valeur de la culture roumaine traditionnelle lpoque
contemporaine et depuis 2014 nous encourageons la mobilit culturelle par lintermdiaire des
vnements de niche ltranger, auxquels nous nous constituons en partenaires mdia: La foire
internationale des produits des crateurs Frankfurt Messe, DaWanda Designmark, Tendence
Frankfurt, Handwerk&design Munchen.
Depuis 2010, avant dacqurir un statut juridique, nous avons cre le projet Revista Atelierul (Le

aux crateurs de produit dans de diverses villes de Roumanie et nous sommes un partenaire viable
pour la ralisation de nimporte quel vnement culturel dans ce domaine. Dans les quatre dernires
annes, nous avons publi plus de 10 ditions du magazine en ligne et nous avons aussi organis la
foire de produits Labazar dans le cadre de lvnement Femmes dans la rue Mtsari.

Assamblage coala de Bijuterie Contemporan a fost nfinat n luna octombrie a anului 2010 la
iniiativa designerului David Sandu. n lipsa unor instituii care s vizeze nsuirea n mod specifc
a domeniului bijuteriei la un nivel tehnic i artistic, Assamblage a pus bazele unei noi generaii de
designeri i autori de bijuterie contemporan care se ridic la standarde internaionale.
n cei patru ani de activitate, coala a susinut aproximativ 85 sesiuni de cursuri i numr peste
300 absolveni. Assamblage coala de Bijuterie Contemporan a devenit astfel o temelie i un punct
de referin puternic n dezvoltarea bijuteriei de autor din Romnia i a contribuit la crearea unei
comuniti nchegate de artiti autohntoni care au depit nivelul autodidactismului i au acumulat
noiuni tehnice i conceptuale pentru afrmarea lor ca designeri de sine stttori.
Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewelry was founded in October 2010 at the initiative of designer
David Sandu. In the absence of institutions that specifcally target the learning of the domain of jewelry
at a professional level, Assamblage founded a new generation of contemporary jewelry designers and
authors rising to international standards.
In three years of activity, the school has held approximately 70 training sessions and has over
300 alumni. Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewelry has become a foundation and a strong
reference point in the development of design jewelry in Romania. Assamblage helped to create
a cohesive community of artists who have achieved and accumulated technical and conceptual
notions for their assertion as individual designers.
Assamblage Lcole de Bijou Contemporain a t fond en octobre 2010 linitiative du designer
David Sandu. En labscence dinstitutions qui visent spcifquement lappropriation du domaine du
bijou au niveau technique et artistique, Assamblage a cr une nouvelle gnration de designers et
auteurs de bijou contemporain qui sont la hauteur de standards internationaux.

Alina Constatin
Ceramics
Alina Constantin este absolvent a Universitii de Arte Bucureti, specializarea ceramic. A fost atras de
materialul ceramic nc din adolescen. Mai exact de ipsos, din care a realizat c poate crea cu ajutorul lui, de
la obiecte cu suprafee foarte fne i delicate, pn la unele cu suprafee vibrante i riguroase. Iar de aici a fost
doar un pas pn la descoperirea porelanului, acum, materialul ei preferat. De cele mai multe ori se inspir
din natur, i plac animalele i joaca lor.
Este atras i de cultura asiatic, i plac n mod special motivele de decor cu oxid de cobalt. De asemenea,
deseori se folosete de elemente geometrice n lucrrile ei. E atent la partea practic a obiectelor, ceea ce este
foarte important pentru un artist i viitor designer ceramist. Cel mai mult i place s gndeasc relaia dintre
funcionalitatea obiectului i elementele sale decorative. i vede obiectele cumprate de ctre oamenii care
apreciaz materialele tradiionale i i-ar plcea s le vad folosite mai ales de ctre cei tineri, care se mulumesc
deseori doar cu materiale accesibile precum plasticul.
Alina Constantin is a graduate of the University of Arts Bucharest, specializing in ceramics. She was drawn to the
ceramic material since adolescence. Specifcally to plaster, from which she realized that with his help she could
create objects surfaces from very fne and delicate to some vibrant and rigorous. And here was only a step up to
discover porcelain, now her favorite material. Most of the times she gets inspired by nature, she loves animals
and their play.
Shes also attracted to the Asian culture, she particularly likes the motifs of the cobalt oxide decor. Also, she often
use geometry in her work. Shes attentive to the practical side of things, which is very important for an artist and
a future ceramic designer. Most of all she likes to think the relationship between the functionality of the object
and its decorative elements. She sees her objects bought by people who appreciate traditional materials and
shed love to see them used mostly by young people, who are often pleased only with accessible materials,
such as plastic.
Alina Constantin est diplm de lUniversit des Arts de Bucarest, spcialise dans la cramique. Elle a t
attire la cramique depuis ladolescence. Spcifquement pour le pltre, de qui elle a ralis quavec son
aide elle pourrait crer des surfaces de lobjet de trs fnes et dlicates peu dynamique et rigoureuses. Et
ici est seulement une tape pour dcouvrir la porcelaine, maintenant, sa matire prfre. La plupart du
temps quelle obtient inspire par la nature, elle aime les animaux et leurs jeux. Elle est aussi attire par la
culture asiatique, elle aime particulirement les motifs de la dcoration de loxyde de cobalt. En outre, elle
utilise souvent la gomtrie dans son travail. Elle prte attention laspect pratique des objets, qui est trs
important pour un artiste et un futur designer cramique. Par-dessus tout, elle aime penser la relation entre
les fonctionnalits de lobjet et ses lments dcoratifs. Elle voit ses objets achets par des personnes qui
apprcient les matriaux traditionnels et elle aimerait les voir utiliss principalement par des jeunes gens, qui
ne se contentent souvent uniquement avec des matriaux accessibles, tels que le plastique.

parte din sufetul nostru cu idei transpuse n lemn, os i piele. ncercm s surprindem prin
simplitate, de aceea preferm s punem cuvintele deoparte i s lsm creaiile nostre s ne
spun povestea.
In Art3lier, our little family project, we want to rediscover the road that leads back to nature,
weaving a bit of our soul with ideas transposed into wood, bone and leather. Were trying
to amaze with simplicity, thats why we prefer to put words aside and let our creations tell
our story.

Dans Art3lier, notre petite entreprise familiale, on veux recherche de la route qui mne la
nature, tisser notre me avec des ides traduites en bois, os, et cuir. En essayant de surprendre
avec la simplicit, cest pour cela que nous prfrons mettre les mots de ct et laisser nos
crations raconter notre histoire.
Lana
Lana este un tnr designer de mod din Romnia, actualmente locuind la Londra i lucrnd n prezent la
lucrarea de doctorat n Art i Mod. A fcut parte din programul Digital Print Design la designerul londonez
Mary Katrantzou. Lana poate f considerat un artist care se manifest prin intermediul modei, de aceea hainele
ei se pot regsi expuse la numeroase galerii de art sau n muzee, mai degrab dect n magazine.
Dup ce n timpul copilriei i al adolescenei a publicat multe cri de poezie premiate, Lana i-a prezentat
manifestul su artistic n dou creaii de design care au luat pe sus ziarele i site-urile de pe tot globul: rochia
Facebook (inclus de infuentul site TrendHunter.com n 2012 Top Trends) i Rochia Etno. De asemenea, este
primul designer romn care a colaborat ofcial cu brandul Puma, avnd propriul design pe o jachet numit
Puma T7 Etno Shake by Lana. Cu 9 colecii distincte n portofoliu, pe care le descrie a f nite preri purtabile,
Lana a obinut aprecierea juriului cu ocazia mai multor concursuri de design: Puma Creativity Award 2012,
Young Creative Chevrolet Award-Romania (2012, 2013), etc. Recent a fost inclus de Forbes n Top 30 sub 30.
Lana is a young Romanian fashion designer living in London, and a recent graduate who is currently researching
for her PhD in Arts and Fashion.You can consider Lana an artist manifesting her beliefs through fashion- you
would fnd Lanas clothing in an art gallery or in a museum, rather than in a shop. Her work was presented at
London Fashion Week 2014/International Fashion Showcase, Holon Design Museum, Kalmar Art Museum and
Malmo Design Centre- Sweden, National Village Museum Bucharest, Cultural Institutes, Art Galleries, Design
Weeks, etc. After she published many awarded poetry books during her childhood and teenage years, Lana
showcased her artistic manifesto in two design creations that took blogs and newspapers around the world by
storm: The Facebook Dress (included by the notorious site TrendHunter.com in the 2012 Top 20 Trends) and The
Etno Dress. Now she is the frst Romanian designer to ofcially collaborate with Puma, and have her very own
custom print on a Puma jacket named T7 Etno Shake Puma by Lana and she also designed as a member of
the digital print design team at Mary Katrantzou. With 8 distinct collections in her portfolio which have consisted,
until now, in wearable opinions- as she describes her clothes-, Lana has won the jurys appreciation in various
design competitions. She was included by Forbes in Top 30 under 30.

AB Contemporary Jewellery
Am crescut de mic copil, nconjurat de conceptul de imagine, respectiv fotografe, find infuenat de cei doi prini
care sunt fotograf. Aceast infuen m-a determinat s urmez o facultate n domeniul artistic, cu specializarea
pictur. Dei am terminat pictura, acest lucru nu m-a oprit s apelez i la alte forme de exprimare artistic: foto,
video, sculptura, instalaia. ntlnirea cu bijuteria, ca form de exprimare, nu este o pur ntmplare. Mi-am dorit
ntotdeauna s creez sculpturi de mici dimensiuni, iar expunerea lor s fe facut prin intermediul interaciunii
directe cu consumatorul de art sau de frumos. n bijuterie, folosesc un material cald, natural, lemnul - element
organic ce se pliaz ca o mnu pe persoana care poart un astfel de accesoriu. Dac n pictur se folosete
contrastul dintre culori, n bijuterie, se creeaz un contrast ntre material i form. Pe lng lemn, aleg materiale
precum: metalul, piatra, ceramica, pluta, rinile.

poate spune c reciclez o bucat care a fost cndva un organism viu, dndu-i o alt conotaie: creez forme, dintr-un
material dat de natur, pentru cineva care a fost nsui creat de natur.
I grew up as a child, surrounded by the concept of image or photography being infuenced by my both parents who
are photographers. This infuence led me to pursue an art college with a degree in painting. Although I graduated
from painting college, this did not stop me to turn to other forms of artistic expression: photography, video, sculpture,
installation.The intersection with jewelry as a form of expression it is not a pure accident. I always wanted to
create small sculptures and their exposure to be made through direct interaction with the consumer of art and
beauty.In jewelry, I am using a warm material which is natural wood - organic element that folds like a glove
to a person who wears such an accessory. If in the painting techniques is used the contrast between colors, in
jewelry, it used the contrast between material and form. Besides wood, I choose materials such as metal, stone,
ceramic, cork, resin.
AB Contemporary Jewellery pieces can ft in the eco current considering that I am using scrap wood. You can say
that I recycle a piece that was once a living organism and I am giving it a diferent connotation: I create forms
from a material that was given by nature, for someone who has been created by nature itself.
Jai grandi comme un enfant, entoure par le concept de limage ou la photo, tant infuenc par mes deux
parents qui sont photographes. Cette infuence ma amen aller luniversit dart o jai choisi la peinture
comme spcialisation. Mme si jai fni la specialisation de peinture, cela ne ma pas arrter utiliser dautres
formes dexpression artistique: photographie, vido, sculpture, installation.
Rencontre avec des bijoux comme une forme dexpression, cest nest pas un pur hasard. Jai toujours voulu crer
de petites sculptures et leur exposition se fait travers une interaction directe avec le consommateur de lart et de
la beaut. En bijoux, jutiliser un matriau chaud, bois naturel - lment organique qui se plie comme une gant
sur une personne qui porterait un tel accessoire. Si le contraste entre les couleurs est utilis dans la peinture,
en bijoux est utilis un contraste entre la matire et la forme. Outre le bois, je choisis des matriaux tels que le
mtal, la pierre, la cramique, le lige, rsine. AB Contemporary Jewellery pices peuvent tenir dans le courant
cologique parce que jutilise de morceaux de ferraille de bois. On peut dire que je recycler une pice qui tait
autrefois un organisme vivant, en lui donnant une connotation difrente: Je cre des formes dun matriau
donn par la nature, pour quelquun qui a t cr par la nature elle-mme.

RIZI este un studio creativ care abordeaz designul ca mediu de comunicare adaptat contextului. RIZI propune
soluii integrate de comunicare vizual ofine i online i custom design pentru obiecte, instalaii i interioare
comerciale. Elementele care stau la baza conceptelor RIZI sunt integrarea n context, comunicarea efcient a
mesajului, experiena interaciunii i valoarea adugat.
RIZI este expresia interaciunii profesionale a cuplului Alina Rizescu i Bogdan tefnescu combinat cu mixul
de know-how i creativitate a echipei extinse ce cuprinde developeri, artiti vizuali, productori de mobilier i
textile, constructori i ingineri. Alina a terminat Arhitectura, are o experien de 4 ani n presa de design din
Romnia, a activat 3 ani ca arhitect la Barcelona i se dedic designului pentru evenimente, spaii comerciale
i urbane. Bogdan are studii n economie, comunicare i producie multimedia, a lucrat n domeniul fnanciar,
pres, radio i ONG, este project-manager al platformei idependente de art Formaje i se ocup de strategia
de comunicare i implementare a conceptelor de design.

combined with the mix of know-how and creativity of the extended team, consisted of developers, visual artists,

Atelierul Oana Stoica Ceramics ncorporeaz toate preocuprile mele ce in de domeniul ceramicii, de la
ceramica sculptural pn la designul de obiect. Interesul pentru domeniul ceramicii a nceput odat cu
perioada liceului, Liceul de Arte Plastice Nicolae Tonitzadin Bucureti. Dup liceu am urmat n paralel cursurile
Facultii de Arte Decorative i Design, Bucureti, sectia ceramic i pe cele ale Facultii de Sociologie. Am
continuat cu un masterat tot n domeniul ceramicii, domeniu prin care reuesc s mi materializez cel mai
bine ideile. Obiectele create n atelier presupun un proces complet, pornind de la concept pn la realizarea
manual propriu-zis a acestora. Obiectele mbin funcia utilitar cu funcia estetic, fecare dintre acestea
find unic prin combinaia de culori, texturi i forme. De multe ori, obiectele sunt caracterizate de contrast,
ntre texturi i culori, linii. Inspiraia din natur este i ea prezent, dnd uneori note suprarealiste obiectelor
i seturilor de obiecte create. Creaiile mele subliniaz importana frumosului n viaa cotidian, nevoia de a ne
nconjura cu lucruri ce ne genereaz emoie estetic i care ne mbuntaesc viaa prin acest fapt.
Oana Stoica Ceramics Studio incorporates all my concerns related to ceramics, from sculptural ceramics to
product design. My interest in the ceramic feld began in high school, The School of Fine Arts Nicolae Tonitza
in Bucharest. I followed in parallel the classes of the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design, Bucharest, at the
ceramic department, and the classes of the Faculty of Sociology. I continued with a master in the ceramic feld,
the feld where I manage to materialize my best ideas. The objects created in the workshop involve a complete
and complex process, from concept to the manual production. The objects combine the utility function with the
aesthetic function, and each object has a unique combination of colors, textures and shapes. Often, objects
are characterized by contrast between texture, color and lines. The inspiration from nature is also present,
sometimes giving notes of surreal to the objects and sets of objects.
My designs emphasize the importance of beauty in everyday life, the need to surround us with things that
generate aesthetic emotion and that improve our life through this.
Latelier Oana Stoica Cramique intgre toutes mes proccupations lies la cramique de poterie lobjet
sculptural. Lintrt pour la cramique a commenc avec lcole secondaire, Lcole des Beaux-Arts Nicolae
Tonitza Bucarest. Aprs le lyce jai suivi en parallle les cours de la Facult des arts dcoratifs et de design
Bucarest, le dpartement de cramique, et les cours de la Facult de sociologie Bucarest. Jai continue avec un
matre tout dans le domaine de la cramique, domaine dans lequel je materialise mes meilleures ides.
Les objets crs dans latelier comprennent une gamme complte, partir de la conception la ralisation
manuel de ces objets. Les objets combineent la fonction dutilit avec la fonction esthtique, chacun deux
avec une combinaison unique de couleurs, de textures et de formes. Souvent, les objets sont caractriss par
contraste, la texture et la couleur entre les lignes. Linspiration de la nature est galement prsente, donnant
parfois la note surraliste aux objets et aux ensembles dobjets crs.
Mes crations soulignent limportance de la beaut dans la vie quotidienne, le besoin de nous entourer de
choses que nous gnrons lmotion lesthtique et qui amliorer notre vie travers cela.

Isabelle Vijiiac, designerul ce semneaz piesele Lachatterie, ne mrturieste c ntotdeauna a creat pentru
femeile romantice, cu o personalitate fascinant, ce i doresc piese clasice cu elemente avangardiste. Dup
cum ea nsi afrm, exist piese n fecare colecie de care clientele ei se ndrgostesc literalmente i pe
care i le doresc n garderoba personal. Creaiile Lachatterie refect ntr-o mare msur personalitatea i
experienele designerului, sursele sale de inspiraie variind de la povetile familiilor regale ruseti pn la
infuene din cultura modern rock. Creaiile designerului variaz de la piese jucue cu imprimeuri forale, la
piese sofsticate n nuane de negru, din dantel i mtase.
Nscut n Suceava, n 1984, Isabelle urmeaz la vrsta de 18 ani cursurile de design ale Universitii de Art din

Isabelle Vijiiac, the designer behind Lachatterie, confeses that she always desiged for romantic people
indulgent maybe, glamours sometimes, but people who want classic pieces with an edge. She says that in every
collection she designs, there are pieces which her clients literally fall in love with. Her creations are a mirror to
her interests and experiences and each of her collections tells a story whether it be of a Russian princess or a
rock singer. Her designs range from firty forals to sophisticated chic, sometimes laced with a darker edge, in
chifon and lace. Born in Suceava in 1984, Isabelle travelled to Bucharest at age 18 and followed the studies
of Bucharest University of Arts. Within 5 years she established her own atelier and started designing under
the label Lachatterie. In 2013, her accessory line titled Lesfllesforissantes, displayed in one year timespan on
Instagram and featuring well known social media women, was exhibited at Alchemia Gallery.

Alexandru Burlacu a absolvit n anul 2011 Facultatea de Electronic i Telecomunicaii a Universitii
Politehnice Bucureti. nc dinaintea admiterii la facultate a fost preocupat de domeniile creative,
iar n anul 2012 a pus bazele unei frme de design grafc. n 2013 a descoperit coala de Bijuterie
Contemporan Assamblage i dup absolvirea unui curs a continuat s lucreze n propriul atelier.
Dei este un domeniu nou pentru mine, creaia de bijuterie contemporan a ajuns s mi par un
lucru fresc; posibilitatea realizrii unor obiecte n acord cu gndurile i sentimentele mele este unul
din lucrurile pe care le-am cutat mereu.
Din punctul meu de vedere, bijuteria de autor nseamn n primul rnd un concept solid, care s
susin demersul creativ.

Numele meu este Eliana Florica, iar pasiunea mea pentru arta handmade a pornit nc din bncile facultii,
acum 5-6 ani. Am experimentat diverse tehnici de execuie n timpul pauzelor dintre cursuri, am modelat srm
nainte de examene i am pictat pereii casei de cnd eram nc mic. Apoi, am schimbat creioanele tocite cu
pensula ascuit i tencuiala obosit cu suporturi noi, odihnite. Astzi, v duc cu gndul la linitea de odinioar,
la viaa tihnit i la miestria lucrurilor fcute cu mult drag, la mpunsturile acului, la rbdarea i iscusina
meterilor romni. Micul brand a luat natere din dorina de a menine vii tradiiile noastre, de a reda fecrei
persoane identitatea sa cultural, ndemnnd-o s se ntoarc la valorile ce o defnesc. Creaiile le-a putea
caracteriza ca find ncrcate cu istorie i fcute cu drag. ncerc s evit descrierile stas, oferind n schimb un

My name is Eliana Florica and my passion for handmade art began while I was in college, about 6 years ago.
I experienced with various jewelry making techniques during breaks between classes, I wire wrapped rings
before exams and I painted the walls of the house since I was a little girl. Then, as I grew older, I traded the dull
pencils for the sharp paint brushes and the tired plaster for well-rested canvases.
Today, I am going to take you back in time for a little journey, to the calmness that once ruled these lands,
to the artistry of things made with much afection, needle stitches, perseverance and ingenuity of Romanian
craftsmen. My little brand was born from the desire to keep our traditions alive, to render to each person its
cultural identity, urging it to return to the values that defne it. I would characterize my work as being loaded
with history and made with love. I try to avoid standard descriptions, ofering instead an exercise of imagination,
which will disjoin you for a few minutes from the daily brawling: whether it be a character from a bedtime story,
whether they convey a traditional symbol or an old legend, I wish that those who read the description of the
jewelry to understand symbols expressed in a special way. Let us return to our origins, I said!
Je mappelle Eliana Florica, et je suis le propritaire de EtnoWare. Mon passion pour lart fait la main a
commenc il y a 5-6 ans, quand jtais encore une ttudiante. Pendant le pauses de courses jai experiment
des divers techniques dxcution, jutilisais du fl pour faire des bijoux, je peindrais les murs de mon maison
en couleur et formes divers.Depuis, jai chang les crayons emousss avec une brosse aigue et la pltre fatigue
avec des nouveaux supports, pour exprimer ma creativit. Aujourdhui, je veux vous emporter dans le temps,
quand la vie tait tranquille et simple, et la matrise des choses faitent avec beaucoup damour par le matrise
roumains. Mon petit brand est n de la volont de garder nos traditions vivantes de rendre lidentit culturelle
de chaque personne, demandant instamment un retour aux valeurs qui la dfnissent.
Mes crations sont caracterises par deux choses: ells sont chargs dhistoire et sont faites avec beaucoup
damour. Jessaie deviter les dscriptions comme il faut, je prfre ofrir un exercise dimagination; soit quil
sagit dun personage dun conte, soit que je rends un symbole traditionel o une vieille lgende, je veux que les
personnes qui lisent la dscription peuvent comprendre le symbolisme rendu dune manire spciale.

Dorind s aducem un strop de bucurie i veselie, am creat piese care v invit s gsii un moment de calm i
relaxare n ritmul trepidant al vieii de zi cu zi.
Povestea a nceput cu experimente de modelare a metalului i exerciii de miestrie. Ne-am concentrat mai ales
asupra bijuteriilor din argint, experimentnd combinarea argintului i cu alte elemente ca lemnul i materialele
textile. Fiind artiti autodidaci, am avut perioade grele, dar i momente de total satisfacie atunci cnd
descopeream crearea bijuteriei. Dup ce am parcurs cursurile colii de Bijuterie Contemporan ale lui David
Sandu, lucrurile s-au schimbat brusc i am trecut cu succes la urmtoarele nivele.
Acum, n atelierul nostru, fecare zi aduce mai mult lumin asupra pieselor delicate, care vor strluci n ochii
zilei de mine.

The story started with metal shaping experiments and crafting exercises. We concentrated mainly on silver
jewellery, while experimenting and combining with other materials like textiles and wood. Being self taught
artists, we had hard times, but also great rewarding moments while discovering jewellery making. After going
through the forge of the Contemporary Jewellery School of David Sandu, things changed dramatically and we
went up several levels in the game.
Now, in our new workshop, every day brings more light upon the delicate pieces that will shine in tomorrows eyes.

Dans le dsir dapporter un peu de joie et bonheur, nous avons cr des pices qui vous invitent chercher
un moment de calme et de dtente dans le rythme passionnant de la vie quotidienne.
Cette histoire a commenc avec des essais de modlisation du mtal et des exercices dans la recherche de la
matrise. Nous nous sommes penchs surtout sur la cration des bijoux en argent, tout en exprimentant de
combiner largent avec dautres lments comme le bois et les tissus. En tant quartistes autodidactes nous
avons eu des moments difciles, mais aussi des moments de satisfaction totale lors de la dcouverte des bijoux.
Aprs avoir suivi lcole de Bijouterie Contemporaine de David Sandu, les choses ont radicalement chang et
nous avons accd au niveau suivant.
Maintenant, dans notre atelier, chaque jour apporte plus de lumire sur les pices dlicates qui vont briller

Sunt absolvent al Universitii de Arhitectur i Urbanism Ion Mincu, Bucureti din 2006 cu specializarea
arhitect. Activitatea profesional mi-am nceput-o n cadrul biroului de arhitectur Dorin tefan, unde am fost
confruntat cu lucrri difcile, interesante i care au necesitat o aplecare ctre detaliu i mult contact cu actul
construirii n sine, dei ntr-un mod indirect. Biroul propriu l-am lansat prin 2010, iar brandul Silva Artis l-am
gndit prin 2011, ca o explorare paralel a formelor i materialelor. Lucrez cu materiale noi, dar i cu vechiul,
spre a obine o adncime, o profunzime a experienei spaiului. Materialul brut, culorile puternice se combin
cu mbinri exacte.
Ultimi ani au nsemnat i o cutare n zona designului de obiect, cu precdere n zona lemnului masiv, brut.
M-a obsedat cel mai mult s exprim greutatea i fora lemnului, n forme simple, geometrice, dar care s fe
echilibrate de prezena naturalului, fe prin anumite muchii, fe prin nsui desenul lemnului. De multe ori,
lucrarea de arhitectur o completez cu piese realizate n cadrul atelierului propriu, cea ce mi da un control
sporit asupra rezultatului fnal, crend un spaiu puternic individualizat. n felul acesta nchid cercul pornit de
la ideea abstract, terminat cu urma de dalt.
I graduated from the University of Architecture and Urbanism Ion Mincu, Bucharest in 2006 as an architect. I
started my professional career with the ofce of Dorin Stefan Architect, where I had to deal with complex but
interesting projects, which demanded a lot of detail work and on-site supervision.
I launched my own architectural ofce in 2010 and Silva Artis brand in 2011, as a further exploration of forms
and materials. I like to work with new and old, in order to obtain a certain deepness of space. I combine rough
textures and strong colours using precise details. In the last couple of years I also started to endeavour in
product design, mainly in woodworking. I obsess over trying to express the weight and strength of wood, using
simple, geometric shapes, counterbalanced by the natural edge of wood. I try to enrich a architectural project
with bespoke furniture pieces made in my own shop, which gives me added control over the fnal result and
that makes for a very unique interior space. Thus I complete the circle started with the abstract ideea. It ends
in a chisel mark.
Je suis diplm de lUniversit dArchitecture et dUrbanisme Ion Mincu Bucarest depuis 2006, spcialise

avec lespace. Matire brute et couleurs vives se combinent avec des joints prcises. Ces dernires annes ont
entran une recherche personelle dans la conception dobjets, en particulier dans le domaine du bois massif,
brut. Jtais hant plus exprimer le poids et la force du bois, des formes simples, gomtriques, qui est
compense par la prsence du naturel, ou travers certains bords, ou mme travers le dessin propre du bois.
Souvent, jajoute a loeuvre darchitecture de pices faites latelier Silva Artis, ce qui me donne plus de
contrle sur le rsultat fnal, en rsultant un espace hautement personnalis. De cette faon, je ferme le cercle
commenc par lide abstraite et termin par un ciseau.

din dragoste pentru materiale, dar mai ales pentru natur. Din grij pentru natur i detalii, Christine on the
Clouds readuce la via stocuri de mtase i tricot punndu-le cap la cap n ediii limitate.
Creatorul acestor haine este Cristina erbu, actri, mam, iubitoare de natural, de simplitate, de mtase
i bumbac. Cu o pasiune sensibil pentru articolele feminine de mbrcminte, Cristina erbu a nceput s
mbine, cu uurin i din curiozitate, tot felul de materiale, iar pasiunea a tot crescut. Din acest motiv a simit
nevoia s-i dezvolte abilitile de designer i dincolo de asta, de consultant de imagine i personal shopper la
Istituto Marangoni Londra i apoi, n cadrul unui Master n Strategii de Mod la UNArte Bucureti. Ce rmne n

Pour cette raison, elle a ressenti le besoin dapprofondir ses aptitudes de designer, et, au-del, de consultant
en image et personal shopper lInstitut Marangoni de Londres, puis dans le cadre dun master de Stratgie

directed towards publishing feld, but when it comes to jewelry, two classes were taken, one part of the
Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School, founded by David Sandu. WOLF 25 has an avant-garde direction
and its not afraid to fnd new ones without being concerned with a certain context. Founded in 2012, WOLF 25
went through several phases and its still far from being completely defned. The strongest details of someones
personality, deeply searched inside, shaped in silver and so brought to light: unique, rough and beautiful.
You are to treasure them as extensions of your own personality, as pieces meant not only to complete you, but
to make you stronger, clear your path to where youre heading. You are to keep them as precious to your own
being and for the ones you love. You are unique and sometimes rough but always beautiful. As a designer, I
create because I need to create. It is a magnifcent self-discovery trip and I know it will last all my life. This is why

Meteugul lemnului n general este extrem de plcut, de aici i numele Woodish, care sugereaz nu numai
lemnul, ct i celalalte materiale organice. Nu am tiut de la nceput c asta voi face. Trecnd prin facultatea
de Arte Bucuresti, secia foto-video, am afat mai nti ce nu-mi place, i natural m-am ndreptat spre ce-mi
face plcere. Momentul n care am neles c voi face design de obiect a fost unul foarte sharp i puternic. Pe
sentimentul sta a fost creat Woodish, un brand ce reprezint o extensie a interiorului meu.

Since the very beginning I had an attraction for nature and always preferred organic materials instead of
synthetic ones, because of course, theyre way cooler.
My relationship with wood occurred by default because I always loved its essence and warmth. Wood crafting
is a bliss activity that generated the name of the brand also; Woodish stands for wood produced objects along
with other products made of organic materials.
I didnt always know this is what I would do. Getting through college and studying photography made me
realize what I didnt like frst and I naturally went along with what I loved by default. The moment I had that
breakthrough was one of the most powerful of my life. Woodish was created based on this particular feeling.

M numesc Ioana Nae i lucrez ca biolog la Institutul de Speologie Emil Racovi. Am descoperit lucrul de
mn acum 4 ani, cnd soul meu a fnalizat prima cma din zale. Am decis s ncerc s lucrez bijuterii din
zale, deoarece tehnica mi s-a prut unic, iar bijuteriile din zale foarte rare n rndul artizanilor handmade. Am
nceput cu srm de aluminiu colorat, la care am renunat acum 2 ani n favoarea srmei argintate, a srmei
gilt, a celei de bronz, alam i cupru. n timp, tehnica mea s-a mbuntit, am ncercat mbinri noi, am nceput
combinaiile cu pietre semipreioase, perle, cristale, am nceput s-mi tai zalele cu ferstrul de bijutier. Tot
acest efort de nvare a dus la obinerea unor bijuterii mai fne i mai spectaculoase. Fiecare pies pe care
o fnalizez mi aduce o real bucurie, bucurie egalat doar de satisfacia clientelor care aleg s poarte bijuterii

My name is Ioana Nae and I work as a biologist at the Institute of Speleology Emil Racovi. I discovered the
world of handmade four years ago when my husband fnished his frst chainmaille armor. I decided I should try
to make chainmaille jewelry because the technique is unique and this kind of jewelry is not common. I started
with anodized aluminum wire, but two years ago I decided to use silver plated, gilt, brass, bronze and copper
wires. My technique got better through time, I learned new weaves, I started to combine my chainmaille with
semiprecious stones, pearls and crystals, I started cutting my jump rings with a jeweler saw. This learning efort
led to more fne and complex pieces of jewelry. Each new fnished jewelry brings me great joy, and this joy is
bigger when I fnd a new customer that decides to wear my brand, Tristua cu zale.
My little passions gave me the opportunity to join few handmade related events, and my participation to the
frst exhibit as a jewelry author is one of my biggest accomplishments so far. I am glad to join Revista Atelierul
at this new edition of White Night.
Je m`appelle Ioana Nae et je travaille en tant que biologiste lInstitut de Splologie Emil Racovi . Jai
dcouvert le travail manuel il y a 4 ans, lorsque mon mari a achev sa premire chemise de mailles. Jai dcid
dessayer de fabriquer des bijoux en mailles parce que la technique m`a paru unique, ce type de bijoux tant
assez rare parmi les artisans. J`ai commenc avec du fl daluminium multicolore que j`ai abandonn il y a 2 ans
en faveur du fl dargent, du fl dor, du bronze, du laiton et du cuivre. Ensuite, ma technique s`est amliore,
alors j`ai essay de nouvelles liaisons, des combinaisons avec des pierres semi-prcieuses, des perles, des
cristaux ; j`ai commenc couper les mailles avec une scie de bijoutier. Tout cet efort d`apprentissage m`a
permis d`obtenir des bijoux plus fnes et plus spectaculaires. Chaque pice que je fnis m`apporte une relle
joie, joie qui peut tre gale seulement par la satisfaction des clientes qui choisissent porter des bijoux de la
marque Tristua cu zale (Le Sac de mailles).
Cette petite passion m`a permis de participer plusieurs vnements thme handmade et la participation
la premire exposition en tant qu`auteur est l`une de mes plus grands accomplissements. Je suis heureuse
de participer ct du Magasin l`Atelier une nouvelle dition de l`vnement La Nuit Blanche des
crateurs et concepteurs de produits .

Am nceput s desenez i s creez mici montri undeva n vara lui 2009. Pornind iniial fr un plan clar n cap i
ncepnd aproape instant colaborarea cu un magazin online. n 2010 am primit o comand neateptat de mare
de la o banc pentru a realiza mascotele promoiei de la vremea respectiv n sute de exemplare ncepnd cu
dimensiuni de 10 cm pn la mascote de 1.5 m. Pe lng montrii pe care i voi exemplifca n cteva fotografi,
am mai onorat diferite comenzi care m-au inspirat i mi-au lsat libertate de interpretare n manier proprie
realiznd chiar o mascot pentru grdini, uniforme pentru un mic restaurant-boutique, decoraiuni pentru
birou sau cadouri personalizate. Pn n prezent am primit diferite comenzi mici sau mari, ns n mare parte a
timpului lucrez pe ideile mele fr o tem impus. Pe parcusul acestor ani mi-am perfecionat stilul i modul de
realizare experimentnd cu diverse materiale.
De anul trecut creaturile mele se pot gsi i la ROD Crtureti i n curnd voi ncepe colaborarea cu un al
doilea magazin din Bucureti.
Ive started to draw and create monsters somewhere in the summer of 2009. Initially I didnt have a plan but
somehow I immediately started a collaboration with a local web shop. In 2010 Ive received a huge order from
a bank to make their mascots form the featured promotion as small dolls of 10 cm and big mascots of 1 meter
and a half. Next to the monsters Ill present Ive honored diferent orders that inspired me and gave me the
freedom of interpretation in my own style and the opportunity to make even kinder garden mascots in human
size, uniforms for a boutique restaurant, interior design objects for ofces and corporate presents. Until now
Ive worked on diferent orders but most of my time I work on my personal ideas, without an imposed theme.
Over these years Ive perfected my style and the working solutions experimenting with diferent materials.
Since last year my monsters are available in the ROD - Carturesti and soon Ill start collaboration with a second
shop in Bucharest.
Jai commenc dessiner et crer mes petits monstres en 2009, sans avoir un plan bien dfni. Assez vite jai
reu une proposition de collaboration avec un boutique en ligne.
En 2010 jai reu une grosse commande dun banque pour crer des centaines de mascottes pour une
promotion de moment; mascottes avec des dimensions partir du 10cm jusqu 1,5m.
En plus des monstres que vous allez voir en attachement, jai cre la mascotte dune maternelle, les uniformes
dun restaurant, des dcoration dintrieur, et des certaines cadeaux personnaliss.
Jusquau prsent je travaille pour mes projets, petits ou grandes, sans necesairement avoir un thme impos.
Au cours de ces annes jai bien perfectionn mon style et mon pratique, tout en utilisant des divers matriaux.
Depuis lanne dernire mes crations se trouvent ROD - Carturesti et pour bientt une belle collaboration
avec un deuxime boutique Bucarest.

Am lucrat 10 ani n domeniul grafcii pe calculator, am creat mii de obiecte virtuale, ns eram de ceva timp n
cutarea unei meserii care s m mplineasc la nivel artistic. Am abordat un domeniu total nou, dar oarecum
legat de ce fceam, prin ideea de design de obiect, o meserie pentru care aveam nevoie doar de minile
mele, imaginaie i creativitate. Am nceput s lucrez piele la nceputul lui 2013, cnd, ntmpltor, am cunoscut
oameni care mi-au deschis apetitul ctre acest material, mi-au dat primele lecii i primele scule de la care a
nceput toat pasiunea. Am avut dintotdeauna o atracie fa de materialele naturale i din tot ceea ce aveam la
ndemn, am ales pielea. A fost o conjunctur, s zicem c meseria asta m-a ales pe mine, cci n-am un motiv
evident pentru care am ales aa. M dedic total acestei meserii, nu e doar un hobby creativ i n fnal doresc
s-l transform n business proftabil. Poziionarea mea este n noul val al designerilor romni, tineri, creativi,
inspirai, eliberai de constrngerile trendurilor, ce creeaz c form de exprimare a personalitii lor artistice,
nu pentru a vinde n mas, obiecte n mall.
I've been working for 10 years now in graphic design, so I have thousands of virtual objects under my belt,
but I have been looking for some time now a feld of work that would round me of on a personal plane, as
an artist. Now, I've tackled a feld which was somewhat connected to my own, since even now I am designing
objects, and yet was new to me, as it involved crafting something with my own two hands, not virtually, while still
relying heavily on imagination and creativity.I started to work with leather in early 2013, when I came to know
people who inspired me to embark on this new adventure, showed me the ropes and recommended my frst
tools. From then, my passion for leather craftsmanship started and it has been growing ever since. I had always
admired natural, raw materials, and leather came as a natural extension to me. To some extent, I think this job
chose me rather than me choosing it. I am fully committed to this, it is not merely a hobby, I get engrossed in it
completely and ultimately it's likely that it will turn into a lucrative business. I believe I could content to be part of the
new wave of young designers, who chose to free themselves from constraints and limitations and went for it, creating art
as an actual extension of themselves, putting their own ideas, thoughts and aspirations into their work. I create unique
designs for unique people, not for mass marketing.

Jai commenc travailler le cuir au dbut de 2013, quand je suis venu connatre les gens qui mont inspir me
lancer dans cette nouvelle aventure, mont montr les cordes et recommand mes premiers outils. A partir de
l, ma passion pour lartisanat en cuir a commenc et il na jamais cess de crotre. Javais toujours admir, de
matires premires naturelles, et le cuir est venu comme une extension naturelle pour moi. Dans une certaine
mesure, je pense que ce travail ma choisi, je mengage cela, ce nest pas seulement un passe-temps, je suis
absorb compltement en elle et, fnalement, il est probable quil va se transformer en une entreprise lucrative.
Je crois que je pourrais faire partie de la nouvelle vague de jeunes crateurs qui ont choisi de se librer des
contraintes et des limites et sont alls pour elle, la cration artistique comme une extension relle de soi, de
mettre leurs propres ides, penses et aspirations dans leur travail. Je cre des conceptions uniques pour des
personnes uniques, pas pour le marketing de masse.

Atelier Franois este o lume n care lucrurile nu se pierd. De la muchi (moss) gsii i culei din pdure, pn
la fori sau frunze cu forme geometrice, n atelier sunt mici viei salvate prin conservare. Dac unii colecioneaz
timbre, Franois ncearc s redea via unor obiecte nensufeite, care au ajuns rapid s-i obin rolul de
cadouri. Borcanele cu muchi se potrivesc oriunde, i ofer o clip de rgaz ctre pdure i natur. Plantele
nrmate sunt adugate pe fonduri colorate cu cerneal, amintind de ierbarele colare, folosind de multe ori
plante din buchete de fori sau gsite pe strad, aruncate sau czute din copaci. n cele din urm, se ajunge la
arta fotografc, pe care Franois consider c este un mod excelent de a conserva tot ce gsete frumos, cum

Atelier Franois is a world where things dont ever perish. From moss, found or hand-picked from the woods,
to fowers with geometrical shapes, the workshop its full of little lives saved through conservation. If some
people collect stamps, Franois tries to give life to unused objects, which quickly became gifts. The jars with
moss fnd their place anywhere, and ofers a piece of leisure towards the forrest and nature at all. Framed
plants are plants added on ink coloured background, which reminds of herbariums from school, where are
used plants and fowers found on the streets, or leaves fallen from trees. At the ends, photographic art is used,
which Franois believes that is an excellent method to conserve anything beautiful, like leaf or the natural
arrangements you can fnd walking by.
These images are represented in little plastic frames from old diapositives, likely as miniature paintings, which
can liven up your home or can be used around your neck, like necklaces. Atelier Franois is a world full of
organic elements, saved from oblivion and bring a little part of nature closer to the man.
Atelier Franois est un monde o les choses ne se perdent pas. A partir de la mousse (moss) trouve et cueillie
dans la fort jusquaux feures ou feuilles avec des formes gomtriques, dans latelier elles sont des petites
vies sauves par conservation. Si quelques-uns collectionnent des timbres, Franois tente de redonner la vie
aux objets inanims, qui ont rapidement acquis le rle des cadeaux. Les bocaux avec la mousse ont de la place
nimporte o et ils ofrent un moment de loisir envers la fort et la nature. Les plantes encadrs sont rajouts sur
des fonds colors avec de lencre, en rappelant des herbiers scolaires, en utilisant plusieurs fois des plantes qui
proviennent des bouquets des feurs o retrouves dans la rue, jetes ou tombes des arbres. Dernirement
on arrive lart photographique, considr par Franois comme une modalit excellente de conserver tout ce
qui est beau, comme les feuilles dans le parc ou des rangements naturels qui on trouve partout. Ces images
sont rendues dans des petits cadres des diapositives comme des tableaux en miniature, qui peuvent donner de

mai multe zone i direcii: fotografe, proiecii video, pictur, colaje, sculptur i modelaj n rdcini de lemn,
scenografe i n zona artelor decorative, recondiionare de obiecte de mobilier. Am nceput cu fotografa pentru
c am primit o motenire de familie: un strbunic a fost fotograf n al doilea rzboi mondial i dup terminarea
rzboiului a dat cadou bunicii un aparat foto care ntr-un fnal a ajuns la mine i aa am nvat ct de puternice
pot f imaginile i ce repercusiuni pot avea n vieile noastre.
n recondiionarea i revitalizarea de obiecte de mobilier nu caut perfeciunea, pentru c m-am plictisit de
coluri, cldiri drepte i fnisate; nu este greu s-i dai seama c fecare imperfeciune are o poveste n spate i
nu trebuie s te rezumi la o lume in care cutarea obiectelor de serie, necalitative ne transform lumea n care
trim intr-un mediu toxic. Din aceast cauz ncerc s art c putem tri cu aceleai obiecte dac le dm o via
nou, avem un aport major n schimbarea mentalitii de consumator i personalizarea propriei viei.
Im a visual artist who graduated in 2007 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania.Ive had many
exhibitions and art projects containing a selection of group exhibitions portfolios in my country and the U.S.
My area of expertise centres on photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media and scenography. I had started
to fnd creative ways of expressing myself many years before I became an Arts undergraduate; every project
Ive ever made helps me understand life and also all the spaces around me and their details. I frst focused
on photography because I had an uncle who was a photographer during the WWII and it was through his
wife, my grandmother, that I discovered how important an image depicting everyday life was and how it could
change peoples feelings. I dont look for perfection, Ive seen many fawless buildings so as to realise that every
imperfection has a story to tell. I try to be receptive to every story found in textures of wood and then to animate
it with colours. Most of the wooden objects are thrown way and replaced with new objects made in series, the
quality of the wood being very poor and the material itself very toxic for an indoors environment. This is why I
like recycling and redecorating ready-made objects like furniture, lamps, old radios and antiques.
Jai obtenu mon diplme en 2007, lAcadmie de Beaux-Arts de Bucarest, Roumanie. Jusquaujourdhui
javais eu des expositions individuelles et de group en Roumanie et aux Etats Unis (Los Angeles). Dans mes
travaux jai suivi des directions difrentes, comme la photographie, la peinture, la sculpture, techniques
mixtes, scnographie. Javais commenc mexprimer de faon artistique les annes prcdant mes tudes
LAcadmie. Par lintermde de mes projets artistiques jessaie mieux comprendre ma vie, lespace qui
mentoure et son infuence sur moi. Jai commenc mon parcours avec la photographie en suivant mon oncle
qui avait t photographe dans la deuxime guerre mondiale et qui a pass la camera ma grand-mre et
cest comme a que jai dcouvert, par ces yeux, limportance dcisive de limage dans la vie quotidienne et son
impact sur nos motions. Je ne suis pas un perfectionniste, je suis plus concern par les coins et les btiments
aigus, je crois que limperfection a aussi son histoire raconter. Jcoute les histoires racontes par les textures
de bois et puis jy ajoute des couleurs. La plupart des objets en bois sont jets ou remplacs par des objets
nouveaux multiplis en srie, de mauvaise qualit et parfois toxiques. Cest pour a que je suis concern par le
recyclage des objets prt lemploi comme la fourniture, les lampes, les vieux radios ou les antiques.

Poveste Deliciu Mic este de fapt povestea Anei, o tnr ambiioas, de profesie medic stomatolog care i
dorea foarte mult s i manifeste pasiunea pentru art. n spatele povetii se af multe vise adunate nc din
copilrie, n care a crezut i a avut ncredere c ntr-o zi se vor mplini. La un an dup absolvirea facultii de
Medicin Dentar, Ana a intrat la Universitatea de Arte din Bucureti, a conceput i dezvoltat un business realizat
din plcere.
n prezent, Deliciu Mic are n portofoliu colecii de bijuterii si accesorii handmade, magnei personalizai,
cadouri speciale, accesorii de nunt i botez, fgurine de tort personalizate, dar i accesorii i bijuterii inspirate
din Medicin. Toate fcute din pasiune, lucrate manual, cu mare atenie la detalii.
Iubim ceea ce facem, punem mare accent pe imaginaie, iar procesul de creaie are la baz o idee, o poveste

Deliciu Mics story, is actually Anas story, a young ambitious professional dentist who really wanted to express
her passion for art. There are many dreams gathered behind her story, in which she believed and trusted that
one day they will come true. One year after graduating the University of Dentistry, Ana entered the University of
Arts in Bucharest, and started to develop and design her own business.
Currently Deliciu Mics portfolio consists of collections of handmade jewelry and accessories, personalized
magnets, special gifts, wedding and christening accessories, custom cake toppers, jewelry and accessories
inspired by Medicine. All handmade made with passion, with great attention to detail. We love what we do,
we put great emphasis on imagination and the creative process is based on an idea, a story or a person who
inspires us to envision the designs. The positive feedback after people see the end result, is our soul satisfaction:
that we were able to bring smiles and joy to their lives.

Elena Andrei a urmat cursurile Universitii de Art Bucureti la clasa profesorului Sorin Ilfoveanu i masterul la
profesorul Ctlin Blescu, ambele cu specializarea pictur. A expus de mai multe ori n formule de grup sau
pe cont propriu. Dintre expoziiile personale amintim expoziia din Canada la Galeria Warehouse Artworks,
Winnipeg sau la Bucureti cu proiectul estura uman la UNA Galeria. n prezent, realizeaz obiecte decorative
din porelan sub brandul Istoriato Alchimia viselor i pred cursuri de art.
Fascinaia pentru stilul de pictur Istoriato, aprut la nceputul sec. 16 n Italia, a reprezentat smburele
nfinrii atelierului Istoriato Alchimia viselor. Stilul Istoriato aduce un element nou n decoraiile ceramice:
povestea.Prin intervenia pictural, obiectul funcional devine art, tuele trezesc la via frumosul i anim
suprafaa alb. Fiecare obiect de porelan este unic, are propria personalitate i ascunde o poveste, care ne

Elena Andrei followed the courses of the University of Art Bucharest at the class of the professor Sorin Ilfoveanu
and the Masteral studies at the class of the professor Ctlin Blescu, both with a major in painting. She
participated in several exhibitions, in group formula or on her own. Of the solo exhibitions we recall the
exhibition from the Warehouse Artworks Gallery in Canada or in Bucharest, with the project The Human Fabric
at UNA Gallery. Currently, she creates decorative porcelain objects under the brand Istoriato The Alchemy of

Cutarea nu s-a terminat aici, aa c n 2013 a urmat cursurile de creaie de bijuterie ale colii Assamblage i
tot ncepnd cu acest an a pus bazele propriului atelier de bijuterie. A participat la expoziii i trguri de profl.
n prezent, i mparte timpul ntre creaia de bijuterie, profesia de arhitect i cea de asistent universitar, secia
peisagistica, disciplina design, USAMV.
I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship is the expression describing the feeling I got when I frst
came into contact with jewelry making. This comes from the fact that for me jewelry creation means enough
playground so you can really use your imagination but still directs you with its functional component so you
are not completely lost in the creation process. The ratio between function and form is ideal.

chooses to wear it.
Ioana Streza began her career path with the Faculty of Architecture from which she graduated in 2012 and
simultaneously attended the Horticulture College, Landscape Design specialization, which she completed in
2011. The search did not end here, so in 2013 she attended Assamblage Contemporary Jewelry School courses
and the same year she founded her own jewelry workshop. Since then she participated in jewelry exhibitions
and fairs. Currently she splits her time between the creation of jewelry, the profession of architect and assistant
professor at the department of landscape architecture, design discipline, USAMV.

Eglantina Von Becheru is a Romanian visual artist and performer known for her private solo-exhibitions, where
she combines dance and live painting. She brought forth the Green Blood Concept, referring to the aristocratic
spirit of artists.
According to her, the nobility is described by the blue blood, but the cyclic power of creation, one that comes
back every age and period, is represented within the artists by the green blood element. Her paintings reveal
a huge sensibility for myths and symbols, as well as psychological and philosophical themes in the Surrealist
style. At the moment, Eglantina Von Becheru teaches painting and visual communication to young gifted people
at SAGA Kid and at Academia Fantastica.

A aprut totui un moment n viaa mea cnd mi-am dat seama c n afar de job nu fac nimic, iar viaa mea era
destul de monoton. Pn acum un an i jumtate cnd, pe un site de decoraiuni interioare, am descoperit o
expoziie inedit a unui artist din Brazilia, Carlos Meira. M-au fascinat instantaneu tablourile sale din hrtie, n
relief, create printr-un procedeu numit Paper Sculpture. Cu pai mici i timizi am intrat n lumea aceasta a hrtiei.
However, at a certain moment, I realized that apart from my job, I wasnt doing anything and my life was pretty
monotonous. Until one and a half years ago, when, on an interior design site, I discovered an unusual exhibition
of a Brazilian artist, Carlos Meira. I was instantaneously fascinated by his paintings made out of paper, created
through a procedure called paper sculpture. I searched everything possible about this art on the internet and
decided to give it a try. With small, shy, baby steps I entered this world of paper.

une exposition trange dun artiste brsilien, Carlos Meira. Jai t tout de suite fascin par ses tableaux faites de
papier, cres par un procs appel paper sculpture. Jai cherch tout ce que jai pu sur cet art sur linternet et je
me suis dcid dy essayer.
Avec de pas petits et timides je suis entr dans cette mode du papier.
