Situl ROSPA0015 Cmpia

Criului Alb i Criului Negru
este situat n partea de nordvest a judeului Arad i sud-vest
a judeului Bihor, fiind ncadrat
aproape complet (97,9%) pe teritoriul administrativ al judeului
Arad i doar 2,1% pe teritoriul
judeului Bihor. Conform fiei
standard, are o suprafa de 32
196,6 ha, fiind situat ntre coordonatele de 21208 longitudine
E i 463038 latitudine N, cu o
altitudine minim de 81m, maxim de 114m i medie de 92m. Se
situeaz pe teritoriile administrative ale unui ora i opt comune
din judeul Arad: oraul ChiineuCri i comunele Grniceri, Ma-

cea, Mica, Pilu, Sintea Mare,

Socodor, epreu, Zerind i o
comun din judeul Bihor - Avram
Iancu. Se ncadreaz n regiunea
biogeografic Panonic.
Din punct de vedere geografic, situl reprezint o zon
de cmpie, strbtut de rul
Criul Alb, precum i de un numr mare de canale. Aceast
arie, pe lng numeroasele
terenuri agricole, include i un
procent ridicat de zone umede, bli, cmpuri ntinse cu
vegetaie ierboas i pduri.
Datorit faptului c zona cuprinde habitate diversificate,
biodiversitatea regiunii este
foarte ridicat.

Criului Alb i Criului Negru is
situated in the North West of
the Arad county and South-West
of the Bihor county, it is almost
entirely situated (97,9%) on the
administrative territory of Arad
county and only 2,1% on the
territory of Bihor county. According to the standard data sheet,
it has a surface of 32 196,6 hectares, being positioned between
the coordinates of 21208 East
longitude and 463038 North
latitude, with a minimal altitude
of 81m, maximal altitude of 114m
and medium altitude of 92m. It is
situated in the administrative territory of one town and eight villages in Arad Contry: the town

Chiineu-Cri and the villages

Grniceri, Macea, Mica, Pilu,
Sintea Mare, Socodor, epreu,
Zerind and one village, Avram
Iancu, in Bihor county. It is situated on the Pannonia biogeographic region.
From the geographic point of
view the site is a plain area, crossed
by the river Criul Alb and also by
a large number of water channels.
This area, besides numerous agricultural lands, includes high percentage of wetlands, slops, large
grasslands and forests. Due to the
fact that in the area
there are different
types of habitats, the
biodiversity of the region is very high.

Criurilor a fost desemnat arie
protejat de interes comunitar
subliniaz importana acesteia
la nivelul Uniunii Europene.
Astfel, aici se gsesc habitate
importante de pduri, pajiti i
mlatini, dar i o serie de specii
protejate de lege, dintre care
cele mai reprezentative sunt
psrile.
Statutul de arie protejat
ofer posibilitatea comunitilor
locale ca, pe termen mediu i
lung, s poat dezvolta oferte
turistice care s promoveze i
frumuseile naturii din zon,
putnd atrage astfel un numr
mai mare de turiti i vizitatori.

ecologic a copiilor prin prisma protejrii sitului comunitar. De asemenea, unitile de

vor putea pe viitor s realizeze

provenind dintr-o arie protejat,
exist o garanie suplimentar
n ceea ce privete calitatea
lor. Desigur c acest aspect se
va putea realiza dac va exista
interes i implicare din partea
fermierilor pentru promovarea
unei agriculturi ecologice.
Proiectele

investiiile
din aria protejat vor fi analizate prin prisma asigurrii
integritii
habitatelor
i
meninerii populaiilor speciilor
de interes, asigurnd n acest
fel continuitatea frumuseii i
valorii tiinifice a zonei.

THE IMPACT OF ESTABLISHING THE

PROTECTED AREA ON THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
The fact that the area Cmpia
Criurilor was designated protected area of community interest emphasizes its importance
at the European level. Important
habitats of woods, meadows and
swamps can be found here but
also a series of protected species, most representatives being
the species of birds.
The protected area status offers the local communities the
possibility to develop touristic
businesses, on the medium and
long run, to promote the beauty
of the nature from the area, attracting a big number of tourists
and visitors.
The schools inside or around
the protected area can access
European funds to promote the
ecologic education from the community sites protection point of
view. Further more, the schools
can benefit from a
series of scientific
data resulted from
research projects
or they can even

participate in some field studies.
The farmers from the protected area will have the possibility
in the future to make trade mark
products, labeled as ecological. In the western Europe these
products are sold to a higher price
and the demand is big, because
if the products come from a protected area they have an extra
guarantee regarding their quality.
Of course this will happen only if
there will be a real interest and
involvement of the farmers in promoting ecological farming.
The projects and investments
from the protected area will be
analyzed through the point of
view of insuring the integrity of the
habitats and maintaining the populations of the species of interest,
insuring in this way the continuity
of the beauty and of the scientific
value of the area.

afl n custodia Asociaiei Excelsior
Arad.
Asociaia are ca scop principal
promovarea valorilor naturale i culturale, tradiiilor i obiceiurilor locale,
vestigiilor arhitectonice din regiunile
istorice Banat i Criana.
Membrii asociaiei sunt n principal specialiti de mediu (biologi, ingineri silvici, ecologi) care lucreaz
fie n mediul universitar, fie n administrarea unor arii protejate importante.
De asemenea, asociaia este
membr a reelei de comunicatori pentru Programul Operaional
Regional Regio. Prin aceasta,
asociaia ajut potenialii beneficiari
s ajung mai uor la informaia
privitoare la programul de finanare
i s dezvolte proiecte cu finanare
european care s contribuie la dezvoltarea regiunii.

The Natura 2000 site Cmpia

Criului Alb i Criului Negru is in
the custody of the EXCELSIOR Association Arad.
The main purpose of the association
is to promote the natural and cultural
values, the local traditions and customs,
architectonic vestiges from the historical
regions Banat and Criana.
The members of the association
are mainly environmental specialists
(biologists, forestry engineers) who
are working either in universities or
in the administration of important
protected areas.
The association is member of the
network of communicators for the
Regional Operational Program Regio. The association is helping potential beneficiaries to easy access
the information about the funding
program and to elaborate projects
with European funding, to contribute
to the development of the region.
