STUDIU PRIVIND EVOLUIA DEMOGRAFIC A LOCALITILOR RURALE

(COMUNELOR) DIN JUDEUL TIMI

Lucrarea propune o analiz din punct de vedere matematic a variaiei numrului de

locuitori din comunele judeului Timi. Scopul lucrrii nu este de a analiza motivele acestor
schimbri, acesta fiind crearea unei baze de date care s conin indicatori matematici cu privire
la dimensiunile modificrilor survenite.
Prin analizarea datelor, furnizate de Institutul Naional de Statistic, referitoare la
populaia comunelor din judeul Timi n perioada 1990-2004 se poate observa c exist diferene
semnificative de dimensiune a acestora. Totui, o simpl privire asupra acestor date nu ne ofer
informaii exacte legate de trendul demografic, fiind necesar calculul unor indicatori care s
exprime aceste deziderate.
Se propune determinarea unei drepte de regresie pentru punctele (x i, yi), unde xi reprezint
anii luai n calcul din perioada 1990-2004 i y i populaia unei comune din aceti ani. Astfel,
dreapta are ecuaia d:y = b0 + b1x, a, b . Este cunoscut faptul c b1 reprezint coeficientul
unghiular sau panta dreptei, aceasta indicnd de fapt creterea sau descreterea precum i
intensitatea cu care se desfoar fenomenul.
Dac este unghiul format de dreapta d cu axa Ox atunci:
b1 = tg = arctg b1
n tabelul de mai jos sunt prezentate datele menionate iniial 1 cu privire la evoluia
demografic n perioada 1990-2004 a comunelor din judeul Timi. Sunt prezentai coeficienii
funciei de regresie b0 i b1 precum i valorile exprimate n radiani ale lui . Astfel valorile
negative ale lui sunt echivalente cu o descretere a populaiei, iar cele pozitive cu creterea
acesteia. Tot aici sunt prezentate i aspecte legate de variaia populaiei n ntreg judeul Timi,
astfel pot fi fcute comparaii ntre fiecare comun i jude n ansamblu. n final sunt prezentate
cteva grafice ale datelor unor comune reprezentative.

3. Rezultate i discuii.
Din totalul de 72 comune ale judeului Timi se poate observa c 54 au valori negative ale lui ,
ceea ce se traduce printr-o scdere a numrului de locuitori, iar 18 au valori pozitive ale lui ,
n acestea tendina fiind de cretere. Mai precis acestea se ncadreaz dup cum urmeaz:
- 54 de comune au valori ale lui care se ncadreaz n intervalul (-1,6>-1), n acestea tendina
fiind de scdere accentuat a populaie;
- n intervalul [1,0) cruia i corespunde scderea lent a populaie nu se ncadreaz nici o
comun;
- n 2 comune valorile lui se ncadreaz n intervalul (0,1), adic n acestea tendina fiind de
cretere lent;
- 16 comune au valori ale lui cuprinse n intervalul (1,6), tendina n acestea fiind de cretere
accentuat.
Din cele prezentate mai sus putem observa c n majoritatea comunelor timiene tendina este de
scdere a numrului de locuitori, fiind relativ reduse ca numr comunele n care s-a nregistrat o
cretere a numrului de locuitori.
