Istoria Miscrii de auto aprare a EvreiIor din Yisuv (Palestina) s-a desfsurat
din 1907 pn n 1948, timp de 41 de ani. O poveste demn de a fi povestit
oricrui popor, prieten sau adversar al poporului Evreu, pentru c: Este un
exempIu de adaptare si organizare rapid la un context initial defavorabil
superioritatea numeric si ura extremistilor arabi, ncepnd cu 1920, la adresa unei
populatii (evreii din Yisuv) ne pregtiti moral si militar pentru lupta armat. Est
un exempIu de mbinare a eroismuIui individuaI cu cel de grup din partea

Comunitate a Evreilor din lume, bine gestionat de evrei de convingeri diferite,
avnd acelasi scop: Rentoarcerea pe pmntul strmosesc.

What seemed to be impossible, has become reality! Because of the apocalypse in
the middle of the two World War, two knights of the true faith, of different nations (a
Romanian and a Jew), were found in a single sentence, the same people as
children: ' People of God '. This resulted in saving hundreds of thousands of
Hebrew in Romania during the Second World War, the Holocaust.
Ceea ce prea ca fiind imposibil ; a devenit realitate ! Pentru c, n plin apocalis
a celui de al doi-lea razboi mondial, doi cavaleri ai adevratei credinte, din neamuri
diferite (un Romn si un Evreu), s-au regsit printr-o singur fraz, ca fiind copii
aceluiasi popor : 'Poporul lui Dumnezeu'. Acest fapt a dus la salvarea a sute de mii
de evrei din Romnia, n timpul celui de al -lea Rzboi Mondial, de la Holocaust.
Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, s-a nscut n localitatea Sotto il Monte (Bergamo - talia)
la 25 decembrie 1881. A fost ales Pap (cu numele oan al XX-lea) la 28
octombrie 1958 si a condus destinele Curiei Romane pn la decesul su 3 iunie
1963.
A fost beatificat (declarat ,fericit) de Curia Romano-Catolic (2000).
Este propus (de Fundatia Wallenberg si Comitetul Roncalli n 2009) a i se
acorda titlul de 'Drept ntre Natiuni', de ctre Yad Vashem (autoritatea national
israelian de studiu a Holocaustului ucidera n mas a populatiei Evreiesti ntre
1933 - 1945).
