E greu (ba, e chiar imposibil!) s afirmi ca Richard Meier este un

meier
arhitect postmodern. Este dup prerea mea un fel de Le Corbusier rafinat,
elegant, ale crui idei sunt duse pn la capt.
Arhitectura lui de neconfundat, a marcat a doua jumatate a secolului
20 i a fost independent de curentele la mod care veneau i treceau.
De la prima la ultima cas (cronologic vorbim) limbajul arhitectural
este acelai. Cu toate acestea formele sunt venic tinere... experimentul
vizual estetic este complet conformndu-se definitiei arhitecturii, definiie
binecunoscut (arhitectura este jocul....)...este altfel spus o arhitectur fr
vrst.
Raional, sobru, curat i alb, R.M se afl printre puinii arhitecii care
au trecut proba timpului...
