Tommy (1975), film artistic, regizat de Ken Russell, relatează povestea unui
adolescent care suferă de surdocecitate psihogenă, generată de un şoc emoţional.
La brute (1987), film artistic, regizat de Claude Guillemot, după cartea omonimă
a lui Guy des Cars. Intrigă poliţistă ţesută în jurul unui suspect cu surdocecitate.
Touching lives: Portraits of deaf-blind people (2002), documentar produs de
Myles Gordon şi Susan Hajjar despre cultura persoanelor cu surdocecitate din Boston.
Through your eyes (2007), documentar realizat de Hands Free Entertainment
