First of all, I could say that Ana-Maria did a good translation,however, she had made
some mistakes. One from mistakes is that she not used the diacritics. These are very important
when we translate the text from SL to TL and for readers to understand the meaning of words.
In the text are many spelling mistakes because of the lapse in concentration: tanara (tnara) , barbate- (brbai) , sa-I-(s-i), ca sub nici o forma ea putea (c sub nici o form
ea nu putea). Also,are committed mistakes of expression as In data de ( La data de ..),
Alti- ( alii) , chipurile- ( cic, se spune c).
In my opinion , the phrase In data de 19 martie, un grup de atacatori, au batut si lovit
cu picioarele o tanara de 27 de ani, Farkhunda, inainte ca sa-I dea foc sis a o arunce in rau.
should be better translated as : La data de 19 martie,o tnr de 27 de ani, Farkhunda, a fost
batut i lovit cu picioarele de un grup de atctori, nainte ca s I dea foc i s o arunce n
ru.and The video shows her surrounded by an angry horde of men, , standing with her face
covered in blood. better to be translated as n imaginile video ea este nconjurat de ctre o
ceat furioas de brbai, stnd cu faa acoperit de snge. I think that deciziile instanei de
judecat sounds better than. condamnarile .
She used some translation techniques, such as: Literal Translation Eight other
suspects received 16-year sentences. Eighteen others were found not guilty. Alti 8 suspecti
au primit 16 ani de inchisoare. Alti 18 au fost gasiti nevinovati. ,Transposition- On March

techniques and a good manner to translate.
