FOREWORD This document represents the OMV Petrom Exploration & Production standard on the: design of the Well Area, including also the Pumping Unit foundation and fencing, [Note - It would be unfeasible to apply this document to all Well Areas currently in. The following table. provides the well area dimensions applicable to existing and new wells, depending of the rig types used. The standard well cellar dimensions are ae detailed in chapter 12 - Annexes. 641. Grating The Grating is provided to prevent accidental falling into the well cellar and for supporting workers and small equipment needed for maintenance end it must be removable and secured against thet. Foundation minimum size will be governed by the PU structural dimensions and fixing doteilso¢ shown in annex B, ‘Aso, the PU Foundation must satisfy the strength and stabilty requirements avoiding the appearance of fatigue, cracking, deformations or compaction above the allowable limits.
