Fuerteventura este o insula cu adevarat fermecatoare, poate cea mai frumoasa din tot arhipelagul Canarelor.
Pe insula se gasesc cele mai frumoase si mai placute plaje din Canare, mai ales pe peninsula Jandia - regiunea
de sud a Fuerteventurei - si pe coastele de nord-vest, in imprejurimile Parcului Natural Dunas de Corralejo.
Nisipul alb-auriu care formeaza plaje de cativa kilometri, este scaldat de o mare cristalina, de o superba
culoare turcoaz. Insula este un adevarat rai, pentru iubitorii sporturilor nautice, in special windsurfing. Este un
loc potrivit pentru familii cu copii, intrucat intrarea in mare este lina aproape in toate locurile. Desi an de an,
spre insula se indreapta din ce in ce mai multi turisti, Fuerteventura este in continuare protejata de presiunea
vizitatorilor.
Din punct de vedere geologic, se presupune c Fuerteventura este cea mai veche dintre toate Insulele Canare,
dei formarea sa a avut loc n timp, fiind impulsionat de o erupie acum 20 de milioane de ani. Orict de
spectaculoas ar putea fi istoria natural a locului, istoria uman este la fel de semnificativ. Astfel, faptul c
fenicienii, spaniolii i portughezii, precum i francezii au ncercat alternativ s obin dominaia asupra insulei
este un motiv suficient pentru a crede c locul este ntr-adevr unul rvnit pe drept cuvnt.
Fuerteventura din zilele noastre este parte a provinciei autonome Las Palmas i, prin urmare, parte a Spaniei.
Desi nu este locul in care sa petreci nebuneste toata noaptea, insula este perfecta pentru familii si cupluri care
cauta o vacanta relaxanta. Insula Fuerteventura are cea mai lunga plaja din arhipelag si este un paradis cu
soare, plaja si facilitati pentru sporturile nautice. Aceasta are peste 150 de plaje, intinse pe cei 340 km de
coasta, apele cristaline ale marii fiind ideale pentru navigatie, schi nautic, surfing si pescuit (insula detine un
loc important in Cupa Mondiala de Windsurfing). Datorita crevaselor, pesterilor si a tunelurilor formate pe
fundul oceanului, Fuerteventura are si locuri ideale pentru scufundari.

Parque Natural de las Dunas de Corralejo = spre est

nuditi.
Calderon Hondo, Lajares. Visiting a Volcano.
From the north of the town of Lajares and towards Corralejo, a series of volcanoes are aligned, which
generated 50,000 years ago and they did increase the area of Lanzaroteand Fuerteventura also bringing it
closer to creating the island of Lobos.
The Calderon Hondo is one of the best preserved and has a crater 70 meters deep.
Access to this impressive volcano is very simple, and can be made from several ways: from Corralejo, from
Lajares, or from the road from Corralejo Lajares.

All these trails are marked and there are ways well adapted.
Upon reaching the top, we found a vantage point from which to contemplate the 70 meter depth of this
amazing volcano, and that soon we will be greeted by squirrels that come to us for food (do not forget to bring
cookies or nuts to feed these people in the volcano).
From this viewpoint there are also stunning views of the other volcanoes that make up this natural area and
are close to Corralejo.
You can encircle the volcano's crater with caution if you so enjoy spectacular views of the north of the island
(El Cotillo, Majanicho, Lanzarote) and Lajares, plus all the"badlands" which was formed in the eruptions of
these volcanoes.
There are also many small prey and large black crows, as well as herds of goats that graze at the edges of the
crater.
A highly recommended tour of minimal difficulty because the whole route is well marked paths and
comfortable.
Cueva Del Llano spre centru
Walk through a lava Tube in Cueva del Llano. Would you dare to wander deep into the earths heart? Cueva
Del Llano is a 648 meter-long lava tube nested under the grounds of Villaverde, north of the island. You can
also expect to encounter a creature like no other, as it is home to the only living white arachnid on earth.
El Cotillo (APUS SPECTACULOS) vest in partea de nord

fantastice, pline de lagune i stnci, ct i pentru restaurante i baruri. Playa del Castillo este una dintre cele
mai frumoase plaje din Fuerteventura.

La Oliva nord-central
A fost centrul politic al insulei ntre secolele XVII -XIX. n centrul oraului este biserica (foto), iar principalul
obiectiv turistic este cu siguran Casa de los Coroneles, aceasta fiind folosit ca reedin a guvernatorilor
militari.

Reprezint un simbol al insulei, dar i o parte important a istoriei. n prezent au mai rmas doar 38 de mori de
vnt n Fuerteventura, construite ntre secolele XV i XX.
Mirador Morro Velosa
Proiectat de Cesar Manrique, acest punct de vedere fantastic n oraul Betancuria este n partea cea mai nalt

Las Penitas spre centru
Feel on top of the world in Las Peitas. You will have to pass through the oldest village in the Canaries to reach
this scenic viewpoint where you can experiment with your photography and shoot spectacular panoramic
views of the whole island. It is the oldest mountain of the archipelago so you will literally be standing on top of
the world.
Pajara vest mai in interior si spre sud
Continund drumul din Betancuria spre sudul Insulei, acesta trece prin pitorescul orel Pajara. Simbolul
oraului este Iglesia Nuestra Senora de la Regla (foto), care a fost construit ntre anii 1687 i 1711 i este
probabil cea mai frumoas biseric de pe insul.

Risco Mirador Las Peas spre centru

Betancuria este un ora fermector n interiorul Fuerteventura i de FV-30 drumul care leag acest ora cu
Pjara, se poate ajunge la Mirador Risco de las Peas 426 de metri de mare, are locuri de parcare i ofer
vederi frumoase la vale Granadillo.
Monumento Natural de Ajuy la mijloc
If the weather is poor, a worthwhile trip out to see the wonderful coast, fantastic views and excellent rock
formations.
You start this walk from the small village of Ajuy, and the footpaths are easy to follow. They can be rough
underfoot in places, so put good footwear on for the walk.It is not suitable for those with limited mobility. The
main features of this walk are the attractive coastline and interesting rock formations. You cannot get more
than a mile or so along the coast, unless you leave the main path and follow a track around the headland.
Unfortunately when we were there the lower level caves had been closed to the public. Hopefully they will be
open again soon.
Mirador Sicasumbre sau Mirador de Los Canarios
n urma n municipiul Pjara dar mai la sud, este Mirador de Los Canarios, una dintre cele mai legendare ale
insulei. De asemenea, numit Barranco de los Canarios, de aici putei face afar Cofete Plaj i Pico de la Zarza
care-l nconjoar i dac nu exist vizibilitate, putei vedea coasta Cotillo. Pentru a ajunge acolo, s ia vechi FV2 din Costa Calma spre Morro Jable i odat ce ajunge la staia de benzin, continund pe dreapta. Drumul
este asfaltat si ponosit, dar bine meritat.
You can find this on the road between La Pared and Pajara. There are no facilities here, but it is not too far to
drive to Pajara afterwards. The are a couple of small parking areas, and then you have a 10 minute walk up to
the Mirador. It is not a stepp path, but it is quite rough in places. The view at the top is worth the climb. There
is not much vegetation, but there are great views in all directions, especially to,the west.

Lajita Oasis Park

In apropiere de Costa Calma se afla La Lajita Oasis Park, format dintr-un zoo, o gradina botanica cu multe specii
de cactusi si partea de unde se pleaca in safari cu camile. In parc exista la anumite ore spectacole cu papagali,
crocodili, etc.
Costa Calma.
Cunoscut pentru superbele plaje albe, Costa Calma a nceput s fie o destinaie preferat de turiti abia n anii
1980, cnd a fost conectat la electricitate. Costa Calma este adaptat n special pentru turitii germani.

Playa de Sotavento spre est

Aceast plaj de patru stele, care v va uimi prin ntinderea sa, este situat pe rmul estic al Peninsulei Janda.
Playa de Sotavento are o lungime de aproape cinci kilometri iar limea ei ajunge n unele locuri, n timpul
refluxului, pn la un kilometru. Tot aici se afl i cteva dune de nisip. Datorit brizei plcute care bate n
permanen, Playa de Sotavento a devenit un adevrat rai al amatorilor de windsurfing. n plus, se afl n acea
parte a insulei ferit de btaia vnturilor puternice, aa nct valurile nu sunt aici niciodat prea mari, iar copiii
se pot blci n siguran.
Jandia/Morro Jable
Este zona de sud a insulei, zona n care sunt, fr ndoial, cele mai bune plaje din Fuerteventura. Coasta lung
de 20 de km este plin de lagune i dune de nisip.
The beaches of Jandia can be summed up in two words: infinite and free. There you can cleanse your soul from
the pollution of city life: clear turquoise beaches, peaceful splashes of low waves and golden sand
Faro de Jandia: We visited here as part of Fuerteventura day tour. Rugged location; great views on a clear day.
You can go on a small trek to get to a vantage point that looks out to sea, or back to the lighthouse.
Playa de Cofete spre vest
Playa de Cofete e o plaj de cinci stele, n lungime de cincisprezece kilometri, care se afl pe coasta de vest a
Peninsulei Janda. Putei parca maina chiar pn la marginea mrii. Datorit amplasrii acestei plaje de o
mare frumusee, vei ntlni aici numai civa turiti i pescari care i urmresc cu atenie undiele. Putei
nchiria o biciclet pentru a v bucura de frumuseea locurilor ntr-un mod activ. Playa de Cofete, care
continu cu Playa de Barlovento, constituie un tablou cu adevrat de neuitat.
De vizitat cand nu este vant puternic, drumul e destul de accidentat. Peisaje magnifice, photo session din
varful muntelui, cand cobori spre plaja.

Gran Tarajal spre sud

out small restaurants in coastal villages.
Faro de la Entallada spre sud
The drive up here is a bit scary but once at the lighthouse the view is spectacular, only smaller tour vehicles
and private cars can make it up the hill so don't expect to go on any of the bigger tours. It is not open to the
public so it is purely a view point.
