Influence of the price for materials and machinery on the cost of residential
construction.
At present, any project idea requires a pre-feasibility study. In order to fulfill the initial
task, we need to study in detail the construction sector, the existing offers, the materials and
equipment market and adopt the best solutions according to the norms in force. It will analyze
the general concept of feasibility because today all sectors collide with economic feasibility, this
being the main indicator of the profitability of one or another field. The construction sector,
being one of the most expensive and lasting in time, first of all after the appearance of a project
idea, is the pre-feasibility study to balance the advantages or disadvantages of the construction,
taking into account the balance between safety, quality, profitability.
After analyzing the prices of construction materials and equipment, an increase has been
observed in the last years and, with their increase in parallel, the cost of housing is also
increasing, which does not influence the rise in house prices.
Construction companies provide a fairly high profit in most cases twice as much as the
execution cost allows them to manipulate prices according to the market situation.
After realizing the feasibility study, I realized that before making a project it is necessary
to analyze and calculate all the ideas regarding the materials used, technology because it can
save well and gain many technical advantages. As in the case of replacing limestone blocks with
blocks for non-demountable formworks of expanded polystyrene, savings of around 62,000 lei
can be achieved, resulting in a much lower construction cost. And with savings made possible to
invest in other projects.
All chapters reflect analytical aspects and calculations in which research and analysis are
carried out on the legislative - normative framework, building prices, prices for materials and
equipment.
The bachelor thesis contains 8 figures, 9 tables, 12 formulas, 8 annexes, 31 bibliographic
sources and 75 pages.
